My lungs are still in pretty poor shape after getting all that dust in then. Not to mention yesterday that I had an asthma attack in the dairy aisle because someone who bathed in a gallon of perfume walked right towards me. Then 8-10 people passed me, only one asked if I was ok.

Well, the day started off bad. When I woke up, my knees and feet were sore (possibly something to do with the parish festival I went to yesterday). Then, around 4:45EST (maybe???) it started to rain and we might not go to the festival again today. So, the day has sucked so far........

I posted an okay idea in the Alt History thread, and so far NOTHING.

100 years is a long ETA to wait for a torrent file to finish downloading.

My oven's temperature is 7.4% off.

Adjust temperature 7.4%. Or rewrite the numbers on the knob to reflect actual temp.

Rant: Punctuation marks after a % sign look really misplaced to me...

I did cIV for 17 hours straight, on more than one occasion.

EDIT: Including occasional toilet and eating breaks of course! :p

That just reminded me of the episode of South Park and WOW. :cringe:

You never struck me as much of a South Park fan.
Rant: I find myself with a strong, sudden urge to plow through some biographies of Eugene Victor Debs, but the library is closed, I lack transportation, and the local branch doesn't have any in stock.

Rule #1 of Eastern European backpacking: avoid Bucharest at all costs. So here I am. On the bright side, I haven't been chased by any rabies-infested dogs...yet.

Yesterday was reasonably rant worthy (as far as days travelling can be). Firstly, the above. Secondly, torrential storm. Thirdly, this morning I had to catch a one hour train. It was 100 minutes late. This afternoon I had to catch a two hour train. It was 150 minutes late when I got it, and 180 minutes late on arrival to Bucharest. And finally, on that train, I had to talk to, for abut two hours, an absoute nutcase. American, rich, ultra-right. It's hard to maintain polite agreement with someone seriously suggesting that anyone crossing the Mexican border should be shot on site.:)

That's an understatement.

Well, were you at least chased by non-rabies-infested dogs ? That's part of the Bucharest experience.

There was RAIN ??? There's been a drought for about a month now with really high temperatures. I hope it will rain here too.

A 100 minute late train is normal.
A 180 minute late train on arrival, is early.
Also (unrelated) - a train leaving unannounced half and hour BEFORE it should is also normal.
Don't you just hate communism ?
