I'm writing my US History term paper on the War of 1812, and some of best primary sources I would've had burned thanks to a house fire in the 1840s. Two of the books that would be vital to my research are old enough that they aren't being sold on Amazon (although other sites have them for somewhat high prices), and the nearest library that I can borrow them from are in the local ghetto.
In an article I posted on my site, some guy who's only heard 5 songs by a certain band (two of them are actually solo songs and he got one of the song titles wrong) is trying to say that the band sucks. That's funny.
My AP review book sucks. Full stop. One of the practice FRQ's had me answer "Analyze the above chart by selecting one event and explaing the relation between that event and the presidents approval ratings." I chose to write about the Cuban Missile Crisis where Kennedy was able to (sort of) erase the shame of the Bay of Pigs fiasco and ably forced Kruschev into a corner. What was the books sample response? They chose about five different events, and only one of them was on that list! The response was talking about the Great Society programs and Watergate, despite neither of those being on the list.
Unfortunately this isn't an isolated occurance and FRQ's are my weakest element going into the test.

5 songs is ample for someone to decide whether or not they like a band . Is it really a journalist writing an article along the lines of "these are the only 5 songs I have heard by (insert mysterious unnamed band) and on this basis , they suck" ?
Or journalists lists 5 songs by mystery band and uses them as examples of why he is not particularly fond of them ?
Would this be a rant if it was some other mystery band being criticized ?
