I feel for you. Here in the U.S., I was on a lake in a canoe with some other people last year, and some policemen in a boat stopped us because we weren't wearing frickin life jackets! turns out that we had special cushions that met boating regulations, but they gave us the ticket anyway. And then, to add on to that, they went up river, and a few minutes later, came shooting past us for no apparent reason. (The lights and sirens weren't on) Around here, there are regulations on how fast a motor boat can go past a canoe, and he was over it. The policemen were speeding! I felt a strong urge to pull a:

I don't think the law was life jackets. But it was something along those lines. Also, the cushions had tags on them saying that they were good enough for that law.

If it's cause your Mum isn't here then I know how you feel . It's my first without her .

But it's a sad day , not a depressing one . And to be able to feel sadness , just like happiness , is a privelidge and a reminder of how great it is to be alive
