Random Rants XXXIX: Coming up with a title is stressful

I'm running against three other people for a senator position at my school, and two of us will win. Im also doing really good. Well now, it turns out we all get the position. I'd rather of lost a.fair election then won in this pointless one.

And my phones keyboard is so laggy on cfc.

It's much later than I ever intended to be up, and at this rate I'll be up till closer to three. I know there's autosave, but it's just incredibly irksome.

Murphy's law dictates the last autosave was 3 turns ago, and at the speed I play especially in the late game, that can be a fair bit.
Does the game allow saving every turn?

If so, then that scenario can be circumvented. :p

Spoiler :
I'm too lazy to look it up right now. :mischief:

It's Civ 4. Of course you can save it every turn if you really want to. :p

Had a group assessment and job interview today for a company I'd quite like to work for. Now I have to wait for them to get back to me... I hate waiting...

We just have this crappy, rainy, windy cold that we adapt to poorly. If it wasn't for footy, full length wetsuits, a break from the spiders and 5 hour flights to Bali it would be hell.
I guess this is a case of "don't mention the war driest start to May on record that just came to an end"?

You would not survive in our summers. Today was our second coldest May morning on record, so it was rather cold for our standards. 1.3C is rather cold here, considering we rarely go below 0C at any time of the year.

It's been 28c+ in the shade for 3 days in a row now... in may... thats really unusual. And I have to work outside in the frying sun. This is murder. I seriously think I'm going to drown in my own sweat soon.

Hot weather and the sun makes me itch and come out in a rash. It's not very good if I want to spend time outside.

Does anyone else suffer from this? What's the cause?

Weak, it's probably sunburn.

I see everyone complaining about the heat, but I don't feel that hot - I'm barely even breaking a sweat.

Might have weak skin or a sun allergy. Going to a dermatologist will say for sure.

I must be fairly special to get sunburned after 2 minutes in the sun.

I know I have sensitive skin (particularly to some soaps, creams etc.) but I didn't realise that you could be allergic to the sun. Damnation.

Antihistamine creams help, along with cortisone creams, if the case is a sun allergy. But there isn't all that much they can do yet for people who have it.

Where I live the forecast is rain for the next week.

I'd give anything to be sweating instead.

If its in skin folds and is very red and has a yucky-smelling discharge its possibly a fungal skin infection. Fungus likes warm, damp places. (Mine was treated with a skin cream. But you need a doctor to check. Because if you use the wrong stuff you can make things worse.)
