I'm not saying that the picture is bad, Mary, I was just telling how it looks. The word I failed to find last night is surreal. It looks totally unrealistic, but if you want to be a videogame villainess then it's the one I'd choose.

Okay, I sort of liked its "surreal" look, lol that's why I keep playing with my filters. Don't you find ordinary pictures to just be sort of, well, boring?

Well today I'm back to my old go-to of "Ravishing Rose." I'm genuinely interested in opinions of men here which you think looks best on me ... Ravishing Rose, Mesmerizing Magenta, or Ruby for Me? Or do you feel none of these work for me?

I'm sorry about this picture, I gained a pound over the weekend (I shouldn't have sampled my cookies!) and I think it went straight to my chin. Anyway, I've been having more video conference calls at work, so I've been putting on lipstick and mascara a bit more regularly lately.

But I'm probably bothering everyone with clogging up this thread with these pictures, please let me know if you'd prefer I stop and I won't post any more. Or, I could threaten to keep posting pictures until @Takhisis finally posts his own selfie.

I guess my rave is lately I've been feeling much more confident in my physical appearance.

Had a good day today, with spending some time with a friend who just moved to the same place as I live in. I hope she has a good first day at work tomorrow.

And one of the journals send one of my manuscripts back. Major revisions . That's a rave because it means it's getting somewhere. From the comments...it'll be painful though.

So I got a library card from the Seattle Public Library that actually works. I've been reading a lot more than I usually do and have already read four books this year.

Perdition by Ann Aguire is probably one of the best books I've read. Highly recommended. Not sure if it says anything about me that the book with the most death in it is also the book I liked most...

Magenta Although because your best feature is your eyes, I would be okay if you put your lipstick colors on rotation.

Uuuuuh, until you pointed it out, I didn't even notice it. It appears to be a lighter shade of blue than your eyes. If so, that's a mistake. Also, I think it would stand out more if you were wearing a V-neck.

Yes, your posts somehow tell us that -clearly mistakenly- you somehow undervalue your looks. Stop talking yourself down, enough people will want to do that on their own.

So my former cellphone carrier decided to keep charging me even after I stopped being their customer* and now I have to go on a consumer's crusade™ to clear my name because they unilaterally, without any warning or, y'know, actually sending me a bill, handed my name over to a collections agency and I am now in an official Unpaid Debtors list, filthy me.

*and they specifically said I didn't owe them any money because I had paid up

Today Mr. Lisa Tak goes went to Washington Buenos Aires and he got his not-a-debtor certificate. Triumph!

My eyes are grey/silver, but sometimes they look sort of blue or green, often depending on what I'm wearing or what kind of light I'm in. My necklace is a manufactured sapphire shaped like a heart, maybe it doesn't look good in my photograph but it's a beautiful deep blue, and I love how its cubic zirconias sparkle.

I'm sorry about all my pictures here, I've moved over to that other thread like Arakhor asked, I guess I just started out as a real Rave because I was very happy about my new shade, and just generally feeling better about my appearance, and then I started getting carried away, lol. Thank you both for your kind words.

The consensus of the CFC peanut gallery seems to be that you are attractive but you seem to, until recently, have disagreed. There will be enough people who will mistakenly disagree with the CFC consensus (you can quote me on this).
Ask your therapist whether your abusive relationships might have turned your self-esteem down enough for you to almost think of yourself as ugly (If you want to show them this page, do so, by all means).

Thank you very kindly ... I wouldn't say I'm ugly, I'd go rather with "plain". I feel like maybe my medication has really been helping my view of my self image. Like for example, when I used to take photographs of myself, when I'd look at them I'd just feel they're all so terribly awful, and I'd quickly delete everything. I have years where I never kept any pictures of myself, only rarely would I find one I liked. Well lately I'm liking more what I see, and I'm not hating my pictures (probably why I've been posting more, lol!) I'm afraid that's why I sort of started posting a few in Raves, because for me I felt it's a rave for me to feel better about myself and more confident.

My rave for today is some packages from Amazon I've really been looking forward to arrived!
