What are you then? A godless agnostic?
I used to be an agnostic but now I'm not sure..
@Snerk is most certainly a Maryan.

I'm choosing to interpret the thread title not as numbers, but as a neutrino and a gamma ray, because I have no idea what number NuGamma is supposed to be.
So it's got nothing to do with trains? https://www.vy.no/en

So, in which script is VY 52?

‘Death of the author’ is always acceptable, as long as it's not the Synsensa interpretation.

Sounds reads like Greek to me!

What's the Synsensa interpretation?

That in my case it should be death to the author, not of him.

Had pizza for lunch. Sliced tomato on top.

Unlike others I didn't have pizza today. My heart & blood vessels are raving.

That's a valid alternative, actually. :yumyum:

Just read another excellent short story, from a student of my online lit seminars.
While I created this for income, I am happy that it is of use to some people...
And this young writer really sent a great work, which managed to even include a (first) revelation which is used stealthily as an almost impossible to foresee counter-measure against a following (and climactic) second revelation.

First book-bonfire is done. While the concept itself is hardly worthy of a rave there were few perks. Burning paper makes a lot of ash which is currently very welcomed to help the snow melting. It's also good for reducing the moss on grass.
I also got rid of more books than I expected before the burning. Another cousin, a former cook, took all the related books and neighbours older kid was very happy with the animal & nature books. I don't need half a dozen different types of encyclopedia to remain ignorant about mating habits of termites etc. The kids will like the big, colourful pictures even if reading all of them will be a years long task.
So basically I ended up only burning multiple types medical & self-help books so far. I know exercise & berries are good and dying ulhealthy but I'm not too keen on the details in between, yet anyway besides I can get enough medical books from parents with their ongoing before-death-cleaning process.
Even though I got another carload of books I'll most likely end up burning less books than I first thought after the first batch I got.

There's a lot to love about American culture.

I think Holiday in Cambodia is the best guitar/drum song ever recorded.

My favourite novel is Grapes of Wrath, IMO equal to any story written in any language.
What a rare talent it was that made the ugliest American accent sing!

I love Hellbilly music to bits.

Even though I'm a militant atheist, I think that e e cummings' poetic simile
"and god took a breath as big as a circus tent"
is as beautiful as I've ever read.

12 Angry Men is the best one-room play ever written, and the movies are among my all time
favourites.

But even if I live to 101, I doubt that I'll understand why so many US politicians, and
the foreign policies they concoct, end up lower than s*** on a shoe.
