I met someone from Missouri last weekend! I'm feeling so much closer to Hobbs and V now.
Don't forget me! Though I live in Missouri, not Missourah like V does.

Have you been told that joke where places with more than 500 inhabitants are cities yet?

They might have a movie theater! Big stuff!

St. Louis city has about 300,000, and the metropolitan area has about 2,000,000. We have a good deal of movie theaters, actually.:p

Rave:
I met with a bunch of guys to study for a test today. None of us were focused and we weren't getting things done. It was really nice outside, so we decided to go sit on the patio of a local bar and have a few beers and blow off steam. It was really nice, though now I have to study extra through the week to make up for the lost productivity.

Rave for potentially hilarious campaign joke material. (No, btw, I will not be donating to someone running in another State. Particularly a carpetbagger.)
Oh? You soak your carpets with tea?
Hell yeah, in Missouri you can get your liquor without ever leaving your car! FREEDOM!!!!
Erm, drunk driving offences don't apply there?

My city has over 20,000 people...
How quaint, that's like, part of a neighbourhood for us. Alpha cities ftw.

Yeah, I was wondering how you could root for the Yanks and the Pats at the same time. Where in New England are you from?

New Hampshire. Lived there for 6 years. My friend Roland was REALLY into the Pats.

I didn't say it was legal to drink your booze in the car, but you don't have to exit the car to buy it. Genius!

You can drink it in a car as well as long as you're not driving! God bless open containers and concealed weapons!

When the North Koreans invade, KC will be the citadel of Murican resistance. They will all be armed and fearlessly hammered. With an army of Cat Ballous, we can make Murica free again.

Right now, we're just cheap.

And classless. Remember, you're a Commie, you can't have class.

Random rave: Apparently Thomas Bangalter's robot helmet (silver robot from Daft Punk) is easy to make and the materials cost under $100 to make it look decent. I know what my new project is.

My friend is teaching English in China, walked into a church that had portraits if Einstein, Newton and Gauss in the anteroom! Boo-yah!

Chinese Foreign Minister to UN: China goal to be a modern socialist nation by mid-21s Century. Doubke boo-yah!

I got a job! It's all attending the people getting on or off the cruisers at the port, approximately 9 times a month and depending on MY availability. Which comes to mean that in a good month I can make just 540€. However, I'm living with my parents so I don't need to live off that money, which will enlarge my savings for "future plans".

:hatsoff: to JoanK! A member of the working class!
540€ a month not bad...

At best. Salary depends on the number of hours worked, ya know, and there aren't cruisers every day. Not with this company, I mean. I'll be working in this service provider for Royal Caribbean.

Uni.

Good, JoanK! Now you can pay for the deponification centre instead of doing it at the expense of the Catalonian Free Rebel State.

I don't like being busy. I mean busy as in, busy all day long. The Internet drains some moments when I could do other stuff, basically homework and pleasure reading and other hobbies of mine such as (occasionally) drawing and writing.

So I think I'll be cutting down on my dose of CFC, leaving a few games over there. Brb, must notify these leaves of absence.

My student accommodation is fairly amazing. I have a two-storey bungalow all to myself. Downstairs is the bathroom and kitchenette, upstairs is bedroom/table and terrace. I need to buy lots of things, though. Like a microwave and kettle. I was given a sleeping bag, but it makes noise like you're sleeping in a plastic bag, so I need to buy a proper duvet. Though luckily the place was already kitted out with a fridge. Also, 100Mbps internet.
