Rave: My magazine came in the mail today and its being scanned now. Glad to see all the stuff I practiced actually works. And that the 10-pound book of "General Elections Official Voting Result" (I don't remember where it came from) is good for something (namely, propping up the other side of the magazine so it don't slide off the flatbed)

I'm not sure whether College visits count as Raves or Rants, so I'll just file them under "Joint Rave-Rant" and be done with it.

@madviking Hmm.

Rave: The kitten survived the neutering and the declawing. Picking him up Sunday!

Declawing? You MONSTER.

@Madviking: you seem to be feeling more than a 'hmmmm'. Either you've been kissed for the first time of your life OR you're learning how to put on makeup. Either is raveworthy though one is disturbing and the other isn't.

^ it's disturbing because obviously if you put makeup there it's because you want to look like a HARLOT and madviking obviously doesn't.

You, restore your avatar, you. It's also disturbing 'cos it's poor eyesight ;).
We prefer intact furniture.
But declawing is bestial. Valka, explain to this cat-unlover! Where are you Valks????

We prefer intact furniture.
My cat, who still has his claws, hasn't touched the furniture. That said, my hands took the brunt of the damage during his first years. :p But now, aside from when he turns into Beasty (PotC reference), he doesn't use his claws at all, aside from using his scratching post.

Just so you know, it was not my decision to have him declawed. It's my furniture protective parents who was an advocate.

This.
Before you make the decision to declaw your cat, there are some important facts you should know. Declawing is not like a manicure. It is serious surgery. Your cat's claw is not a toenail. It is actually closely adhered to the bone. So closely adhered that to remove the claw, the last bone of your the cat's claw has to be removed. Declawing is actually an amputation of the last joint of your cat's "toes".
See? It's just gross.
x-post edit: your parents are nuts.

I was thinking about the game Heavy Rain and at the exact same time a commercil came on with music from it.

These days I can read only about 10 political posts in OT before I have the urge to throw up.

This is a good sign, right?

You're just reading the wrong threads.

Do what I do and just avoid anything with Israel/Palestine in the title, after I did that, the OT became like, 10 times better.
