Good luck with that. It'll probably be just as successful as his other ventures.
Given that he managed to lose money whilst running a casino, I would say that is definitely not an accurate reading of affairs.

Wait, you can get rich by going bankrupt?
that don't make no sense
It does not make any sense except that they figure this will make them more money somehow in the end. Despite everyone in the US saying renters in California have unlimited power, this isn't true. There's no agency we can turn to to fight this as the law allows landlords to not renew leases for whatever reason as long as they give 60 day notice. And the company made the decision to evict everyone with pets on these floors a year ago but has been waiting until each unit is 60 days out to notify them to prevent us from working together to stop it. I've been sounding the alarm with all the neighbors with pets I've come across to at least give them a longer heads-up.So you don't have far to move, and you get to keep the dog?
That said, it's bizarre that dogs wouldn't be allowed on certain floors. If the company that owns the building I live in suddenly decided that cats are only allowed on certain floors, they would find themselves in court, unless the tenants who already owned cats were grandfathered and the policy would only apply to new tenants.
Grandfathering is a handy thing. It's why the rental company still pays for my internet and cable, and I get to decide who is allowed to use my parking space and have my extra key to the building, even though I don't have a vehicle.
There have been an increasing number of reports that the news staff is in conflict with the network heads over the last few months as Trump's corruption has gotten more naked and harder to hide. What's happened to Fox, they're daring criticise their former numero uno golden boy?
They're only getting honest if your look past the lies by omission. While the may be running some truthful stories about the President, they pass on the overwhelming number of stories out there altogether and then only give the briefest of air time to negative stories. There's a reason most Fox News viewers have no idea that Mueller recommended impeachment or found obstruction of justice if not collusion. The news section is actually getting honest. This does not extend to Hannity, Watters, and the other reptiles they have over there. Trump is now tweeting that Fox News is no longer his station and he's thinking about starting his own station.

I think you're giving him too much credit. Sure, he's exploited bankruptcy laws but I don't think he has started a ton of his failed ventures with that end-goal in mind as frankly that would take too much foresight and self-reflection.Well, you are quite wrong. The purpose of those ventures was to enrich Trump by exploiting bankruptcy law, and by that measure they were successful.

There's only so much doublethink can do without electrodes. The hard news guys who are not part of the AM opinion and evening prime time opinion teams, are in conflict them.
As well as the plot spoiler about bankruptcy law being part of the profit scheme, I have to point out that shows in which he just talked and got paid for his persona (e.g. The Apprentice, POTUS, various guest star appearances as himself in the 1990s) have regularly been sucessful in the traditional sense.Good luck with that. The managers here used to frequently use the phrase to me "when you move out..." and I asked them, "Wouldn't it make more financial sense for the company (that owns this building) to keep a satisfied renter so they don't have to continually spend money on cleaning, renovations, advertising, and other administrative work connected with the suite?"It does not make any sense except that they figure this will make them more money somehow in the end.
