I got accepted into Virginia Tech! My first acceptance!
Might I add, I feel sorry for you and your horribly decentralised uni application system. But I'm sure it makes acceptance taste all the more sweet.

I must reiterate.
4 day school week every week!
Even better, only 3 days of uni each week.
Well, it's four days for me, that'd be nine hours in the classroom, plus another eight for travel oh it's only 17 hours out of 168! Only 10% of my time is spent in physical uni presence or travel.Even better, only 3 days of uni each week.

This quarter of uni I have Friday's off, but the thing is two of my classes are night classes that only meet once a week, so it's pretty chill.
Good job! One of my friends is there right now, but he's been having some tense moments towards it (or rather the people there...). Not that that should discourage you from going there if you choose to, it's a decent school from what I know.
Hell was that application system so decentralized and chaotic. Guess it ain't as bad as the bureaucracy per se, but still.

Listening to Friday a second time, I think we're all missing the point. It's actually a piece of social commentary. "Gotta be fresh, gotta go downstairs..." is about how everyone is expected to act in the same way and conditioned by societal norms to be mediocre. "Gotta make my mind up Which seat can I take?", about how young people are obsessed with little stupid nonissues and miss the important things in life. The robotic "Fun, fun, think about fun" ahd "partying... everybody's looking forward to the weekend" is how even when we try to enjoy ourselves we are unconsciously under pressure to conform and try to meet what we see as society's expectations. The crap singing throughout of course reflects how our high expectations do not meet the terrible reality.
