School started late for me today (I'm a senior, seniors don't have to take MCA tests so we came into school two hours late) so I woke up an hour and a half later, made myself pancakes and bacon, and then went to school.

I used to think sites like Yahoo Answers had nothing but jokers, but quite a few of my current Googled questions have been answered by their site. I am pleasantly surprised by this development.

Next week I get to play Portal 2 and see the new season of Doctor Who.

Ditto on both counts!! If only I didn't have four and a half seasons of Dr. Who to catch up on first.... but hell, that's a nice problem to have, when you get right down to it.

I finally made the plunge and bought a block of land in Bali . Rice paddies , river , beach access (no buildings or anything yet )

Now to work out what to do with it (I guess I just have to add seeing my bank balance plummet into the rant section)

Thing is , in Sydney with my very limited means all I can buy is crappy unit in a crappy suburb and load myself up in debt to do it.

At least in Bali I can have a little slice of paradise debt free. And fortunately i don't care that much about money , so if never makes a buck I'm not too phased . But I can plonk my ass on a Balinese beach , open a cold Bintang , watch the sunset and call it mine
