Rave: My student loan should be coming in soon maybe this weekend. It goes into the bank so its nothing to do with the mail.

(Why are Americans making such a fuss about a proposal the post office not delivering on Saturday? We live just fine with it in Canada.)

Electricity is slightly different than the mail waiting around an extra day or two. If something is that important that not getting it Saturday would be a big impact, why isnt it being couriered?

We don't get mail on weekends at all and we do just fine.

Though, actually, there's one post office open on Saturday. But not Sunday. For if you are mailing something and if a package is too big for a mailbox and nobody is home they take it there.

Alright new thread!

Yesterday I ate the first twinkie of my life, how did I go 16 years without having one? I also got a zippo.

I once had a twinkie and I didnt like it. Whenever I tell that to someone they think I'm weird.

Is a zippo a lighter? The only time I tried to use a lighter (I was sterilizing a needle as I had to pop a blister on the bottom of my foot) I burned myself.

EDIT: A rave. Heres something neat. It happened a couple of times. I was listening to a song. I didnt recognize the title and assumed it was either a) an obscure original or b) a cover I didn't know. But it turns out I recognize the song as it was actually a cover to a song that I heard several times but didn't recognize the title.
