That should have made them redouble their efforts!
Anyway, my Random Remark: It's funny (and by funny, I mean sad), that the concessions that the Freedom Caucus wants in order to vote to repeal Obamacare are just nakedly "You haven't taken enough stuff away from enough people." They don't even put the pretense on it of "well, the market will reduce prices" or "people take greater satisfaction providing for themselves than the government providing for them." It really is just "Ryan's bill isn't cruel enough yet."
They want insurers to be able to issue policies that are not required to cover:
• Emergency services
• Hospitalization
• Pregnancy, maternity, and newborn care
• Mental health and substance use disorder services, including counseling and psychotherapy
• Prescription drugs
• Rehabilitative and habilitative services and devices, which help people with injuries and disabilities to recover
• Laboratory services
• Preventive care, wellness services, and chronic disease management
• Pediatric services, including oral and vision care for children
Like, what would policies that didn't cover those things cover?
