You are extremely naive if you don't think girls dress like this because it is attractive to boys.

And you are extremely self-obsessed if you think girls dress like they do exclusively for your pleasure.

Thinking girls should dress respectfully makes me self-obsessed....sure thing buddy.

So this is exactly what I mean. The topic was why women dress the way they do, and all of a sudden you've started talking about why you personally think that they shouldn't dress that way at all. You can't even maintain a discussion for four posts before you've started veering off to talk about yourself.

Actually, women dress the way they do to impress other women. It's a contest. It's all about looking better than the next woman.

And I agree with Valessa, civver_764, I can dress in any way I please. Because it feels good to be pretty.

Moderator Action: This is not a thread about clothing justifications between the sexes. Move on or make a thread about it.

"Extra Space" is an uninspired name for one of those garage-rental companies.

It's as bald as "Snakes on a Plane" was as a movie title.

Oh, by the way, another "Just Sayin'": That ad for Woke Jeans on SNL Saturday was hilarious!

Magicians did 9/11. Seriously, think about it. One of the major issues that many people brought up was that apparently "Kerosene can't melt steel beams!", but then think about what Uri Geller does with Spoons, and you'll realize how things suddenly add up.

Is it really bad that having seen videos of the Las Vegas incident my first thought is "Wow, Arma sure got the sounds of automatic gunfire right"?

I always thought of music as something that is infinite, that once you don't enjoy the stuff you heard in the weeks before, you just go to youtube and find some new music, and later on you can just go back and enjoy some of the music you heard before, but after a few weeks of drawing 8+ hours a day now, my troubles of finding new music that I enjoy, or choosing music from my library that I am in the mood of listening to, some to increase more and more.

It is a scary thought that there might come a point where you're just so "numb" to any type of music that you stop enjoying it. How would I fill that void if I ever arrive there? I have no idea.

Not necessarily. Audio of actual automatic weapons fire isn't that hard to get a hold of.

The numbness is probably from something else. Cheer up. Your liking for music will return (if you want to rush it you can consult with my eclectic self for new genres to explore).

Half the time when I open the forum I misread Catalonia as California in the independece referendum thread and get a little scared/excited.

So do I. Except my reaction is more confusion.

I have more than once misread it as Catatonia... not that I am against the idea of Cerys Matthews being made a sovereign state.

Would you prefer the Popular Workers' Socialist People's Socialist Party for People Who Work and Are Socialists?

When it comes to naming left-wing coalition groups, the less room we're given to muck it up, the better.
As soon as John McCain declared Barack Obama as a socialist in October 2008, the democrats' supports rose sharply, the working class shifted quickly for the change.

The west is so strange. Thinks idealized human characters are 8 heads tall, when it's so obvious that the idealized human figure is actually 6 1/2 heads tall.
