I figured out how to change the music files in Half-Life 2. I'm going to have so much fun with this.

Instructions:
1. Go to \SteamApps\Common\Half-Life 2\hl2\
2. In it, make a \custom\sound\music\ folder.
3. Find the track you want to replace. If you don't want to use GCFScape to crack open the files here's a page.
4. Get an MP3 of the song you want in the game, rename it to the song to replace, and drop it in. I don't know if encoding matters, WinLAME at 320kbps did the job.

I have a suspicion that that one's been recycled.

Good thing it wasn't an English professor.

I replaced every single song in Half-Life 2 with Funkytown. I'm not sure why I did that. Or even why I picked that song in particular.

It's pretty funny, though.

After almost 3 months of taking a break from drawing I've had a look at my latest drawings from before the break, and... man do they look terrible now.

I guess it's true what they say about going on "vacation" from ones journey every now and then. 3 months were probably absolute overkill, but it feels like all the stuff I was learning back then has had time to sink in.

I didn't think I would sympathize with Cenk Uygur, but in light of the SocialJusticeDemocrats disowning him for comments he made 18 years ago, and the backlash he is receiving on twitter, I have a lot of sympathy for him. It is sad to see that people judge him for who he was 18 years ago, and ignore the fact that he has changed and grown to almost be the polar opposite of who he was back then. This goes against the very idea of personal growth.

I don't have any sympathy for him because he has engaged in the very same behavior against others. This is a clear case of "what goes around, comes around."

Examples?

Took the dude twenty years to acknowledge the Armenian Genocide, and this is what they go after him for?

He has? Well, at least now the armenian co-presenter doesn't have to pretend it is a non-issue :D
The title of their show is still rather in bad taste, and still tied to the armenian genocide - among other things- as well.

In 2016 he rescinded the article statements he had made, but only went as far as to say that he does "not know nearly enough about" what happened. As far as I know he has not come out and positively state that it did happen, just that what he said about it before was uninformed.

It seems that every time that I take off my headphones the radio is playing yet another different cover of that "last christmas I gave you my heart" song. All these people really need to re-evaluate their criteria for organ transplants. Either that or I need to re-evaluate my choice of radio station.

I suppose it comes like a wham to the ears. :)

I can't exactly turn my back on a radio station that plays April Wine, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, and the Guess Who back-to-back though.

You can simply switch radios when those artists are not on, aimee.

As the old song goes:
I sent my sinuses to Arizona.
Sent my liver to Peru.
I send my lungs and my kidneys
Every summer to Sydney
But I'm sending my heart to you.
