[R&F] Rise and Fall Live Stream General Thread

Thank God Sogno Di Volare stays in the opening.
Nice, that was the saddest part of the Civ IV expansions.
The Cree start with a Warrior. The unique scout is also 40 production cost, rather than the regular 30, but it is as strong as a Warrior.
Aw that's lame :(

Will probably only have one a game then unless goody huts grant me a recon unit

It looks like they didn't updated the tech tree so the problem with Ai not upgrading their units will still be there

What is there to negotiate? They don’t like the game, so what?

Incorrect. They have an ulterior motive. Their goal is to promote awareness of their tribe and it's history. One way they are doing with was the petition to exonerate Poundmaker, which has recently proven successful. The second way was to draw media attention vis a vis a controversy with Firaxis. The third way is that they want to portray the battle of Cutknife Hill in Civ VI, probably as a scenario. The supposed legal action and worry over cultural appropriation is all shock and awe.

From some watching of Quill18's Cree lets play and pausing at the right times on the leader selection

Egypt: Now gets extra alliance points while having a trade route with allies
Brazil: Gets new unique water park district. This is in addition to their unique entertainment district, so they now have two unique districts.

Interestingly no changes to Germany or England

It's not a replacement, it's probably Brazil's unique version of the new Water Park district. Since Entertainment Districts and Water Parks are very nearly "the same" district, it makes sense that if Brazil gets a unique version of ED, they get a unique version of the Water Park too.

I don't think so, probably the unique district in Brazil has been changed from a unique Entertainment Complex to a unique Water Park. Giving space for another civ will receive a unique entertainment complex in the future.

If the district is called Copacabana, will it grant a large amount of tourism?

Well, the fact they were included in the Expansion did raise awareness. In fact, after researching Poundmaker I signed the petition. Anyway, back on topic really enjoying Quill’s stream. The new mechanics are very interesting, ecspecially governers. Haven’t decided on how many would be optimal for my somewhat tall play style.

I bet it performs the same as before, with the Carnival project. Now Brazil will have to pick between Carnival and Bread and Circuses.

[Writing Bull - German speaking video]

It's not the final build. None of the 3 remaining leader are seen in civ selection choice.
Also, there's still mismatched translation in Dutch's Polder from English to German.

So how did Marbozir show a Zulu thing? Is he also a beta tester?

It's been confirmed that the Copacobana is in addition to the Street Carnival. They're fundamentally the same district, just one on water, one on land.

In any case there's absolutely nothing stopping Firaxis from having two or more civs in the future with unique replacements for the same district, just as we already have multiple replacements for the same building or unit.

The Ikanda district was listed in the Civilopedia. Obviously the contents of the 'pedia is not modular in the same way the available civs are... ;)

Ugh.

Rumor has it that Kabul has taken the capital city of Kabul. - Quill

Weird notification for CS retaking itself.

The remaining three weren't in Marbs video either. I think just because it's "not the final build" doesn't mean it doesn't have more information than we do already.

Ok I need to sleep, good hunting everyone

So we're just waiting for someone to open the civ/leader page of the Civilopedia? :D
