17, mostly my job is being deductable but over summer I had to ask ppl if they want fires with that cuz after I got my liscense dad said I had to pay for my own gas
. But now that school is back on Im back to being deductable 
.
My very first computer was a hand me down from my brother and it had tons of game son it including Civ2 which I played LOTS. later I got another handme down and this did have civ3 and I played it a little but noit as much as diablo 2 which I played BIGTIME. Then I FINALLY got my very own brand new computer and not long after that I got Civ4 vanilla and then the xpansions when they came out and been playing that pretty much ever sence.

I was playing Diablo2 again a month ago, I built my zealot paladin to lvl 48 in 3 sleepless nights and Beat Normal. But I quickly came back to civ after i got my Diablo fix.

Haha Diablo eh. I never had the patience for nightmare/hell. I got a lvl 50 something necro, nothing like my sister who practically maxed her assassin (she could repeat cow runs something fierce and not get tired of it).
Back in those days I played a LOT of RTS and got pretty good at starcraft (top 250 on the ladder for a while) and warcraft 3 (top 1000 though it meant less to be ranked in USEast by that point)...probably why civ games take such little time for me is the rts obsession with "APM".
Fond memories indeed. Civ IV seems to be something special though. It has the best community I've ever been a part of and has a tremendous amount of depth per game (and it gets pretty hard on high difficulties so it retains its challenge also).

I just saw this thread while looking round some of the old threads and thought it really nice idea talking bout all the chars you built so far and also thought that this late in ladder some people must have TONS of chars by now. Or at least I do. I guess I am not a monotoonist hehe. Im still noobie so there still tons of diff chars I would like to try. Plus I love thinking of a build I want do. Planning what skills I want for them and want gear I need and then sending out my maguc hunters to gather it piece by piece or sometimes getting a nice gift from a friend that can help a char.
Early in this ladder I picked chars who didn’t really need uber gear to get going since I didn’t have nething yet. But I do love twinking and even for those first chars when I didn’t have their end gear yet I had idea what I would like and made sure they had the str and dex to use it if they ever got it. Later chars are planed lots better since I had better idea for what they were gonna use. Some took awhile setiing aside this and that until they were ready. Others started when that one piece that would be gr8 to build around drop when I wasn’t expecting it.
I like having lots of chars it keeps me from getting bored with any one char and yeah I like some more than others I still try to play em all and keep em going so none of them feel neglected and get sad hehe. Tons of chars also means tons of chances to go questing and adventuring from normal and nm on to their final title and not just stay in hell all the time
So here they are in order they joined the members of Clan Kaytie
MagicKat 95 skellimancer -- Magic is my first char made this ladder. I made him to be my main magic hunter to help get the Kaytie Clan started and he has done very well. He is also very spoiled he got the first anni of the kaytie clan this ladder and first HotO and first arachnid mesh and even the only BK ring I have ever found. BK ring probably could have been better on other chars but he since he founder of Kaytie Clan he get dibs. But he make up for it by doing TONS of baal runs to help get nice things for his Clan mates. He is by far the strongest most powerful over all char in Kaytie Clan. He the founder and senior member of Kaytie Clan and the flagship char. And he highest level char I have ever had and only member that still on the ladder. I am very proud of him.
DizzyKaytie 85 hammerdin -- Dizzy was my second char this ladder. I made him so early because like a skelliemancer they can be very strong without needing uber hard to find items and at this point in ladder I still didn’t have very much yet. He as kinda slipped thru cracks a lil bit and doesn’t get played as much as others but I still take him out once in a while so he don’t feel too neglected.
BlueKaytie 90 holy freeze zealer. -- Blue is the muscle of Kaytie Clan when something big and ugly need whomping I go get him hehe . He is my clone killer and char I take on the group uber tristram runs. He don’t do too well around IM knights but as long as he can melee he can be very tuff.
DianaTrigarde 88 Trapper -- Diana 4th char made this ladder and same reason as my first 2 chars. Trappers can be very strong even without uber gear and Kaytie Clan was getting a lil richer by now but still felt best to make chars who could make do with what they found and then hopefully get even stronger and they found nicer stuff. I think she has done very well. She is my nilly key runner. The nilly vipers don’t slow her down as much as her other clan mates and nilly’s CE no problem When it goes right she just drops DS in his room then walk away and wait a couple minutes. She never even sees nilly just walks in and picks up whatever left in the splodie bits hehe
Ce_Nedra 87 Mavinazon -- By this time ladder is few months old and Kaytie Clan members plus the group of friends we ahre mules with are starting to go very strong and mules starting to fill up with very nice things and I am at point where I don’t have to worry about what a char might end up using I can get good idea of what their final gear will be and make plan for it . And I get chance to use Mavina Set. So I made a frozen arrow/ strafer. She is lots of fun and LOVES visiting cow farm and making cowcicles
MistyofAvalon 88 LF zon -- when you get ethereal titans u pretty much HAVE to make a lf zon so I did hehe. She is a nice char with a nice CS for bosses and decent fend for LI’s and a nice big LF that can make crowds go away FAST as long as they not LI.
Tahiri_Veila 93 fireball/orb Tals Sorcie. I have never really like sorcies. When I first stared playing D2 I played sp so all the ones I tried were untwinked/solo only and never got past normal duriel. Plus they sound kinda snooty when u ask em to pick up stuff and their back pack is full But last ladder when I first started playing on b.net I made a sorcie and figured I could party with friends and she would get past Duriel that way. So I made JainaSolo. I guess I was lucky I chose to name her after my all time fave fiction char because she became my all time fave b.net char too. She was fun to play and then she got to put on a tals set and wow she was just very tuff and became one of my main magic hunters and ended up getting lvl 93 my highest level last ladder. So I waited a long while before starting a new sorcie this ladder for two reasons. First even though Jaina and off ladder I couldn’t bring myself to replace her so soon. The second reason is I wanted to make a very nice sorcie so I waited until I had full Tals set right off before starting one this ladder. And when I got the whole set together finally I didn’t want to delete Jaina even to replace her. So this ladder’s Tals sorcie I named after antoher very cool char I love to read about and Tahiri Veila follwed in Jaina’s footsteps. Cuz she had Jaina’s example to foloow and was spoiled with knowing she would have nice gear right off the bat she has done even better. She is very tuff and 2nd highest char in Kaytie Clan and helps her clan mates by running the pit and by going after countess and summoner for keys. Like her ancestress Jaina before her she is one of my all time fave chars to play
KaytieGrowls 85 fury wolf -- I made a rabies wolf last ladder and he ended up being one of my biggest disappointments. He was just never able to do as good as I wanted. So this ladder I wanted to try a wolf again and do better. First off no rabies that skill didn’t work as nice as I thought it might. And second this time he would use most of IK set just minus the hat and use Jalals instead. And he truned out very nice. He doing MUCH better then wolfie druid I made last ladder. I guess that means I am learning how to play better and make chars better and maybe not so big a noob nemore hehe .
KatInTheNats 86 phoenix strike assassin. -- Phoenix strike is just THE coolest skill in the game and Nats set one of my fave sets so as soon as I had all the pieces to make a nice phoenix striker I did . She is very fun to play and I always love when I take her out for an adventure .
IGotSpirit 82 boneskills necro -- One of the group I share mules with is a lady named Tae. She is a very nice lady--when I first found basin and heard the term “play nice and show some class” the first thought that came to me was “oh ok so they mean just play like Tae”. She not only very respected regular of alt.games.Diablo crowd she was one of the original players who helped found it back in days of D1 and is a very good player who knows TONS about the game. She has given me lots of tips about how to play and I learned tons just from gaming with her. One day we are chatting about necros and I mention how someone else once said that Tae’s necro was 1 of only two necros they knew of that just wasn’t a total lag monster. Tae told me she felt that a necro could be a very big help to a party or they can be very annoying. Now it not the necros fault that they can make a game laggy it is just that for people with slower computers a ton of skellie and revives all with curse animations on their heads . She also told me about knowing which curses are best depending on who is in your party and what the monsters and try to use the best ones for the party.
So with that in mind I wanted to make a nice necro that would make people go “yay” not “uh oh” when he joined a game. So I made plans for a all bone skills and curses necro with no skellies or revies. But by time I got together the stuff I wanted the ladder reset so that project got put off for a little while. But finally some of the pieces I wanted dropped this ladder and Spirit was born. He is working ok so far. The biggest problem is that his belt is an arachnid mesh and that with clay golem can make some very bad dysnc sometimes. But he only 82 so I figure it wont be too much trouble to get a diffent golem as he get bigger. He still a little low because Kaytie Clan is so big now that he doesn’t get as much playtime as he should but he is still going and he very patient necro so he doesn’t feel too neglected.
ChocolateThief 86 concentrate sword and shield barbie . -- I love melee barbies. When I was still only playing single player the first char I ever got to hell was a sword and shield concentrate barbie so they always have special place in my heart. I had a very nice one last ladder Barney_Socks and I wanted to make one this ladder. But like I always do when I can I wanted to gather the gear I wanted first then make him. So I patiently waited setting aside this and that that I thought would be helpful for a nice Barbie and when I had all the pieces Chocolate was born. He is not the fastest killer in the world but he is very sturdy and concnetrate mean killing crowds one monster at a time so it may take awhile but he get the job done eventually.
TurkishDelight 86 throw Barbie -- I always wanted to make a throw Barbie and I had this idea of how I wanted to plan him. My plan was to have him use gimmers and lacerators. I figure witht hat combo he could handle most ne type of monster. BUT I also wanted him to have the same on switch so when he ran out of ammo he could just switch and keep going.. So that mean I needed to get 2 sets of gimmers and lacerators. That wasn’t the hard part between Tahiri and Macic doing lots of magic hunting and then sharing mules with other people who also do tons of magic hunting we had axes to spare. BUT I also wanted him to use an Andy’s visage so I waited and waited and finally got one and I was able to start Turkish. I like him lots. He has lots of IAS and can throw very fast and he has 1 point in frenzy and when get frenzied up he can be a lil machine gun hehe
Alema_Rar 86 melee enchantress -- Another char I always wanted to try was a melee enchantress and after looking through what stuff I had I figured I had enuff gear to make a very nice one so I started Alema. I named her after another a Star Wars char like lots. I know she is evil now in the stories but I always felt sorry for her. The very first she appeared her twin sister was murdered right in front of her and even when she would try and do good noone liked her much and always expecting her to turn evil at any second. Then in a story her and a whole group of other Jedi end up getting brainwashed. The others are treated more like “oh we need to help them “ but her it was more like “see? I knew she would turn evil.” so the others got helped and she stayed on dark side so I always feel sad. It make me think if only people were nice to her she could have been a very good JedI. But Alema very hot tempered and can be a lil snooty so I figured she would make a good enchantress and she is. Fire immunes can give her probs but she still a very nice char.
Windy_thePooh 82 windy druid -- A windy druid was another char I started last ladder but ladder reset b4 I could finish. It took me awhile to get one started again just because by then I had lots of chars going so it hard sometimes to make time for new ones but I go at around to it and he turned out nice. His hurricane sound gets me chilly whenever I play him tho hehe. He is also only char in Kaytie Clan who doesn’t use an Act 2 merc. He uses an act 5 Barbie merc who swings a nice big eth law bringer col blade. His damage is not bad but his main job is to cast decrep on phys immunes so Windy’s twisters can kill em and it has worked out very nice I think.
ShockandPaw 84 weabear -- I love wearbears I think they are very cute and cuddly hehe. And shockwave is also one of my fave skills. But I am kinda spoiled now on druid gear. I think nothing beats a shape changer bear with Jalals and IK set. There maybe stuff just as good but nothing better cept maybe the big hard 2 get rune words like Last Wish but then IK set and Jalals a little easier to get hehe. But it took awhile and only one ever dropped so far at this point and wa son KaytieGrowls. But then a friend found a IK armor and said he didn’t want it so I got it and started a wearbear. He uses shockwave and maul and cuz he gives monsters frst a shock and then the paw he is named ShockandPaw .
WiggleDance 91 dancer sassy-- I don’t know how easy it is to tell but when I am playing wiggle I am having FUN!!! Dancers are so versatile nothing slows em down. Big tough boss monster she has tons of cb and a skill that hits with it 5 times per attack very very fast. Crowds of IM Knights her cb let her still kill with BF and her traps take care of rest. She can take lister if she have to and play with gloams. BlueKaytie is still my best meleer and still the muscle but Wiggle is almost as good and can handle other situations that give Blue a hard time. I’m still learning and make LOTS of mistakes when making a char but if there is any char I have who is even close to just perfect in that I wouldn’t change a thing at all it is WiggleDance.
Mjolinor 85 frenzy barbie -- a frenzy barb was another char I started at end of last ladder and got abandoned when ladder reset. He was another char that I made plans to start as soon as I got together all the gear I wanted and it took awhile but I am patient and by this time I have tons of other chars to keep me busy till I got enuff to start him. He uses hammers so I named him after Thor’s hammer. He nothing fancy he fast when he frenzys up but nothing out of control just a big quick tuff tank who is fun to play.
GreenKaytie 82 poison necro-- I never used full trangs set before and even though I had full set for awhile I never started one.. The casting bug on it is just too annoying but then I thought maybe a char like a dagger necro would work since he don’t really need fast cast anyways. He started out as dagger necro but his poison nova kills faster and that’s what he uses most. The slow cast still isn’t a problem cuz it good I think to wait a lil bit between novas to let the poison sink in. Plus he also fun in games with Sea cuz she scared of vampires and he chases her round the campfire in rogues hehe.
JainaSolo 91 JediZon -- Like I said before last ladder Jaina was my fave char she was my Tals sorcie all pretty and sparkly. She was highest level char in Kaytie Clan and the flagship char. Even now I use a picture of Jaina Solo for my avatar. But then ladder reset and she was retired. I HATE stripping my characters but it didn’t make sense to leave her gear on when she not using it and I had friends still playing off ladder who could use her gear so eventually I gave her stuff away but still couldn’t delete her. And for months and months she sat their looking all sad and it broke my heart I every time I went to refresh her but I still couldn’t delete her. Now by this time I starting to fill up my accts with new ladder chars and been delteing some of the old ones to make room and I am now back to making chars on my first ladder account where Jaina started. So know I have to look at her every time I play with some chars and made me even sadder.
But then I kept reading about JediZons and they looked so cool and so fun to play and I love Jedis and then I thought who could be a better JediZon than the coolest JedI Knight ever?? I was soo excited this was one of those times where I didn’t even worry about waiting for the perfect gear I knew I had a lighsabre and everything else I would figure out later as she got bigger. After that rest of Kaytie Clan took a break for awhile it was just Jaina Jaina Jaina and she was a blast playing again. We took out time playing just clearing out places and killing monsters questing alone or with friends there was no hurry we were having fun and it was wonderful having Jaina back and active in the Clan. She got to 91 very fast and is a nice happy member of the Kaytie Clan again. She not really flagship char again that is Magic’s job and he earned it. Jaina doesn’t really have a job. Other chars are designed to be clone hunters or key runners or to magic hunt or to help friends when they are in tuff spots but not Jaina. She did those jobs last ladder and lets her lil brothers and sisters do them now. Now she is just a clan elder who only job is to go out kill stuff and have fun hehe.
AKnightofStars 82 BF sassy -- Around this time I found another IK armor and started thinking what to do with it. I wanted to do something more interesting than I IK barbie and after reading a thread about different IK builds I thought that all the mods on the IK set would make a great BF sassy so AKnightofStars was born. Unfortunately when I made her I had NO idea that two handed weapons were double nerfed with bf and even the elem damage was double nerfed :/. So poor Knight was never as powerful as I had hoped. Plus she was a lil miffed that all the other sassys see shaw got to use cool neato claws and she had to lug around a big giant hammer. She did get her title with help from friends but if I have 1 char that was a lil short of want I wanted her to be it is her. Poor Stars it not her fault it just mine for being a big noobie and not knowing how BF works :/.
CryMeARiverr 82 warcry barbie -- Cry just your standard war cry barb he try to keep em dizzy while he sings and cries and have the stinkiest BO of all the barbies in the Kaytie Clan. He can be fun to play just a lil noisy hehe. War cry singers not ur best choice if you like sneaking up on monsters hehe.
AnakinSolo 86 conviction zealer -- Another HoZ drops so another paladin is born hehe. Mainly I wanted to try and make another paladin to see if I could make one who is just as good a meleer as Blue but isn’t so scared of IM knights. Last ladder my plan was when I made my first holy freeze paly was to give him 1 point in fanatcism and then let him use throwing weapon on switch. But that didn’t work very well so this ladder I used the points in other skills and blue just kinda pretends 2 throw things and hides behind other party members when IM Knights are around. So this time I made Anakin a gimmers using convicter and that worked out LOTS better whenever IM Knights around he just switch 2 throwing and can still kill ok. It do go slowing than when he zealing but he not as helpless. Blue is still a waaaay better meleer but Anakin no slouch at melee either
KnightFantastic 85 shadow knight -- if you cant tell by now I love shield using melee types hehe. And the fun I had with Alema and Jaina and Chocolate and my palys and even Wiggle and Misty had me wanting to make another shield using cahr who likes to melee. I read Heathers thread bout shadow knights and that seemed lots of fun so KnightFantastic was started. She not the strongest cahr I ever made but she does very well. Her big weakness is that has has noooo crushing blow at all so against bosses she can have problems but she can zooom through crowds and crowds of regular monsters. Plus she looks very coolies in her glads bane and grief sword hehe.
ElectricKaytie 84 tesladin -- I had so much fun building Anakin I decided to try another paly this time a holy shock paly. E-Kaytie is probably my best designed paly holy shock gives VERY nice elem damage and he has 1 point in conviction and that with plus skills and gimmers on switch mean he can play with IM Knights as long as he careful not to get swamped. And holy shock makes such a coolies sound when he first turn it on
SpinSycle 84 whirlwind Barbie -- I have never ever tried whirlwind skill. It always seemed like a very difficult skill and the chars can die easy if you don’t know what u doing. Plus all the barbies in KaytieClan have family inherited inner ear problems so they always got doctors excuse to get of of spinning class in Barbie school hehe. And I like concentrate and frenzy skills better so it was never a prob. But then I had ideas to make a Chaos sassy. But since I have never used whirlwind before I thought it would be smart to make a whirlwind barbie first and get an idea of how to use a regular whirlwind before I tried a variant of it and wind up messing it up. So Spin volunteered to take some dramamine and went to spinning class . He has done very nice whirlwind is lots of fun and he helped me learn how to play it better. He get picked on sometimes in channel just cuz he wears leviathan and sometimes his dramamine not kicked in yet so he can get a lil green hehe but it not his fault and he a real trooper and does his spinning best
Esmay_Suiza 84 chaos sassy-- the point I decided to make a chaos sassy is both happy and very sad. I liked that I had chance to make 1 but was also very sad. The reason was because chaos sassy gear very high end and hard to find. At least the gear I wanted to use. Now when I first came on b.net last ladder I played with a group of regulars from the Diablo usenet groups. They are some of the nicest people on b.net and made me feel very welcome and taught me lots bout the game. A few of them were using shared mules and when the ladder reset and were starting all over they invited me to be part of their team. Now they are all older players who play together to get away from pubis and rude people on b.net. Unfortuantely that tends to be younger players in the pubis. One agd reg calls em the “zit poppers” But even tho I was only 13 then they still nice enough to invite me. Not only were they some of the best players I ever seen players who skills made em legends even among the other top players of agd they were also some of the nicest friendliest classiest people I knew. They taught me lots how to play not just skill wise but how to behave in group games.So being invited to join their team was as big honor to me as when my application for ABM was accepted by the basin. Now all of them have been playing d2 loooong time some of them like tae and couple of others even help found agd when they played D1 so that mean like 10 years almost with same game basically. And they were getting lil bored and wanting something new. A couple left cuz of rl getting in way and then the rest all agreed to try WOW and they got hooked and pretty much left.
Now even though we shared mules I always did best not to take best stuff until I was sure we either had spares or nobody else had plans for it. It wasn’t to bad at all. we had some of the best magic hunters around and they taught me all I knew bout magic hunting so there was always plenty of stuff to go around. But still the chaos sassy gear I was gonna use big deal but after 3 months go by it was pretty much clear that they not coming back and I was now only one left on the team. So it was very very sad but I not bored with game yet and still have a few old friends on agd and TONS of new friends on basin so I kept going and Esmay was born.
And Esmay is a blast 2 play I LOVE spinning with her it looks soooooooooooo coolies hehe. Esmay is the latest member of Kaytie Clan to get her title and I am very very happy with how she turning out.
HeyBatterBatter 24 future IK Barbie -- recently another IK armor drop for me and figured ok lets try and IK barb this time. He still little right now but hopefully he will do ok. And his name is HeyBatterBatter cuz when there r monsters around he SWIIIIIINGS
JacenSolo 17 FistofHeavens paly -- Another HoZ dropped so I thought maybe it good time to try another paly. I always wanted to do a FoH play. I think the GOOOOONG sound is very neat hehe. And I thought it be nice for Jaina to have her brother back in clan again, even if in the books now he is turning into a n evil sith lord jerk :/ Jacen is the littlest and newest of member of Kaytie Clan but I am hoping he wont be the last
And that’s the Kaytie Clan hehe. From one lil necro with just a plus 1 skellie wand and a dream who founded clan this ladder is in the big magic hunter and flagship char now to lil jacena and batter who are still growing up. They all been very fun not just in building and questing them but cuz each one meant chance to go and play with old friends and make new friends and that what keep me playing most
I do have a cpl of hc chars 1 on west and 2 on east but 2 r just kinda stalled in act1 norm and the other is a weak version of shadow knight sassy that I play in a group game. I am just noob still and really nowhere good enuff 4 hc. I get too paranoid bought dying and scared to go too far plus I can get very very attached to my chars and it hard for me to get into a char knowing that they could get lost forever it would just be too sad for me. And the char in group game only doing so good cuz she hides behind her party mates .
The team I started out with this ladder did make a couple of “team” chars. A team enchantress and team bo barb and team smiter. But I wasn’t really involved in designing them or leveling them. And since team chars like that not much help when team is now just me and I cant bring xtra chars in game I just took off some of their gear and put em on chars I am using. I do keep team smiter going. He handy for when I want to solo UT and Smiters very powerful one on one but pain to level and since there a perfectly nice lvl 90 smiter alrdy built I use him for that. But he not really part of Kaytie Clan. I never built him so he doesn’t have a personality for me like the chars I started form lvl 1 on up

I just saw this thread while looking round some of the old threads and thought it really nice idea talking bout all the chars you built so far and also thought that this late in ladder some people must have TONS of chars by now. Or at least I do. I guess I am not a monotoonist hehe. Im still noobie so there still tons of diff chars I would like to try. Plus I love thinking of a build I want do. Planning what skills I want for them and want gear I need and then sending out my maguc hunters to gather it piece by piece or sometimes getting a nice gift from a friend that can help a char.
Early in this ladder I picked chars who didn’t really need uber gear to get going since I didn’t have nething yet. But I do love twinking and even for those first chars when I didn’t have their end gear yet I had idea what I would like and made sure they had the str and dex to use it if they ever got it. Later chars are planed lots better since I had better idea for what they were gonna use. Some took awhile setiing aside this and that until they were ready. Others started when that one piece that would be gr8 to build around drop when I wasn’t expecting it.
I like having lots of chars it keeps me from getting bored with any one char and yeah I like some more than others I still try to play em all and keep em going so none of them feel neglected and get sad hehe. Tons of chars also means tons of chances to go questing and adventuring from normal and nm on to their final title and not just stay in hell all the time
So here they are in order they joined the members of Clan Kaytie
MagicKat 95 skellimancer -- Magic is my first char made this ladder. I made him to be my main magic hunter to help get the Kaytie Clan started and he has done very well. He is also very spoiled he got the first anni of the kaytie clan this ladder and first HotO and first arachnid mesh and even the only BK ring I have ever found. BK ring probably could have been better on other chars but he since he founder of Kaytie Clan he get dibs. But he make up for it by doing TONS of baal runs to help get nice things for his Clan mates. He is by far the strongest most powerful over all char in Kaytie Clan. He the founder and senior member of Kaytie Clan and the flagship char. And he highest level char I have ever had and only member that still on the ladder. I am very proud of him.
DizzyKaytie 85 hammerdin -- Dizzy was my second char this ladder. I made him so early because like a skelliemancer they can be very strong without needing uber hard to find items and at this point in ladder I still didn’t have very much yet. He as kinda slipped thru cracks a lil bit and doesn’t get played as much as others but I still take him out once in a while so he don’t feel too neglected.
BlueKaytie 90 holy freeze zealer. -- Blue is the muscle of Kaytie Clan when something big and ugly need whomping I go get him hehe . He is my clone killer and char I take on the group uber tristram runs. He don’t do too well around IM knights but as long as he can melee he can be very tuff.
DianaTrigarde 88 Trapper -- Diana 4th char made this ladder and same reason as my first 2 chars. Trappers can be very strong even without uber gear and Kaytie Clan was getting a lil richer by now but still felt best to make chars who could make do with what they found and then hopefully get even stronger and they found nicer stuff. I think she has done very well. She is my nilly key runner. The nilly vipers don’t slow her down as much as her other clan mates and nilly’s CE no problem When it goes right she just drops DS in his room then walk away and wait a couple minutes. She never even sees nilly just walks in and picks up whatever left in the splodie bits hehe
Ce_Nedra 87 Mavinazon -- By this time ladder is few months old and Kaytie Clan members plus the group of friends we ahre mules with are starting to go very strong and mules starting to fill up with very nice things and I am at point where I don’t have to worry about what a char might end up using I can get good idea of what their final gear will be and make plan for it . And I get chance to use Mavina Set. So I made a frozen arrow/ strafer. She is lots of fun and LOVES visiting cow farm and making cowcicles
MistyofAvalon 88 LF zon -- when you get ethereal titans u pretty much HAVE to make a lf zon so I did hehe. She is a nice char with a nice CS for bosses and decent fend for LI’s and a nice big LF that can make crowds go away FAST as long as they not LI.
Tahiri_Veila 93 fireball/orb Tals Sorcie. I have never really like sorcies. When I first stared playing D2 I played sp so all the ones I tried were untwinked/solo only and never got past normal duriel. Plus they sound kinda snooty when u ask em to pick up stuff and their back pack is full But last ladder when I first started playing on b.net I made a sorcie and figured I could party with friends and she would get past Duriel that way. So I made JainaSolo. I guess I was lucky I chose to name her after my all time fave fiction char because she became my all time fave b.net char too. She was fun to play and then she got to put on a tals set and wow she was just very tuff and became one of my main magic hunters and ended up getting lvl 93 my highest level last ladder. So I waited a long while before starting a new sorcie this ladder for two reasons. First even though Jaina and off ladder I couldn’t bring myself to replace her so soon. The second reason is I wanted to make a very nice sorcie so I waited until I had full Tals set right off before starting one this ladder. And when I got the whole set together finally I didn’t want to delete Jaina even to replace her. So this ladder’s Tals sorcie I named after antoher very cool char I love to read about and Tahiri Veila follwed in Jaina’s footsteps. Cuz she had Jaina’s example to foloow and was spoiled with knowing she would have nice gear right off the bat she has done even better. She is very tuff and 2nd highest char in Kaytie Clan and helps her clan mates by running the pit and by going after countess and summoner for keys. Like her ancestress Jaina before her she is one of my all time fave chars to play
KaytieGrowls 85 fury wolf -- I made a rabies wolf last ladder and he ended up being one of my biggest disappointments. He was just never able to do as good as I wanted. So this ladder I wanted to try a wolf again and do better. First off no rabies that skill didn’t work as nice as I thought it might. And second this time he would use most of IK set just minus the hat and use Jalals instead. And he truned out very nice. He doing MUCH better then wolfie druid I made last ladder. I guess that means I am learning how to play better and make chars better and maybe not so big a noob nemore hehe .
KatInTheNats 86 phoenix strike assassin. -- Phoenix strike is just THE coolest skill in the game and Nats set one of my fave sets so as soon as I had all the pieces to make a nice phoenix striker I did . She is very fun to play and I always love when I take her out for an adventure .
IGotSpirit 82 boneskills necro -- One of the group I share mules with is a lady named Tae. She is a very nice lady--when I first found basin and heard the term “play nice and show some class” the first thought that came to me was “oh ok so they mean just play like Tae”. She not only very respected regular of alt.games.Diablo crowd she was one of the original players who helped found it back in days of D1 and is a very good player who knows TONS about the game. She has given me lots of tips about how to play and I learned tons just from gaming with her. One day we are chatting about necros and I mention how someone else once said that Tae’s necro was 1 of only two necros they knew of that just wasn’t a total lag monster. Tae told me she felt that a necro could be a very big help to a party or they can be very annoying. Now it not the necros fault that they can make a game laggy it is just that for people with slower computers a ton of skellie and revives all with curse animations on their heads . She also told me about knowing which curses are best depending on who is in your party and what the monsters and try to use the best ones for the party.
So with that in mind I wanted to make a nice necro that would make people go “yay” not “uh oh” when he joined a game. So I made plans for a all bone skills and curses necro with no skellies or revies. But by time I got together the stuff I wanted the ladder reset so that project got put off for a little while. But finally some of the pieces I wanted dropped this ladder and Spirit was born. He is working ok so far. The biggest problem is that his belt is an arachnid mesh and that with clay golem can make some very bad dysnc sometimes. But he only 82 so I figure it wont be too much trouble to get a diffent golem as he get bigger. He still a little low because Kaytie Clan is so big now that he doesn’t get as much playtime as he should but he is still going and he very patient necro so he doesn’t feel too neglected.
ChocolateThief 86 concentrate sword and shield barbie . -- I love melee barbies. When I was still only playing single player the first char I ever got to hell was a sword and shield concentrate barbie so they always have special place in my heart. I had a very nice one last ladder Barney_Socks and I wanted to make one this ladder. But like I always do when I can I wanted to gather the gear I wanted first then make him. So I patiently waited setting aside this and that that I thought would be helpful for a nice Barbie and when I had all the pieces Chocolate was born. He is not the fastest killer in the world but he is very sturdy and concnetrate mean killing crowds one monster at a time so it may take awhile but he get the job done eventually.
TurkishDelight 86 throw Barbie -- I always wanted to make a throw Barbie and I had this idea of how I wanted to plan him. My plan was to have him use gimmers and lacerators. I figure witht hat combo he could handle most ne type of monster. BUT I also wanted him to have the same on switch so when he ran out of ammo he could just switch and keep going.. So that mean I needed to get 2 sets of gimmers and lacerators. That wasn’t the hard part between Tahiri and Macic doing lots of magic hunting and then sharing mules with other people who also do tons of magic hunting we had axes to spare. BUT I also wanted him to use an Andy’s visage so I waited and waited and finally got one and I was able to start Turkish. I like him lots. He has lots of IAS and can throw very fast and he has 1 point in frenzy and when get frenzied up he can be a lil machine gun hehe
Alema_Rar 86 melee enchantress -- Another char I always wanted to try was a melee enchantress and after looking through what stuff I had I figured I had enuff gear to make a very nice one so I started Alema. I named her after another a Star Wars char like lots. I know she is evil now in the stories but I always felt sorry for her. The very first she appeared her twin sister was murdered right in front of her and even when she would try and do good noone liked her much and always expecting her to turn evil at any second. Then in a story her and a whole group of other Jedi end up getting brainwashed. The others are treated more like “oh we need to help them “ but her it was more like “see? I knew she would turn evil.” so the others got helped and she stayed on dark side so I always feel sad. It make me think if only people were nice to her she could have been a very good JedI. But Alema very hot tempered and can be a lil snooty so I figured she would make a good enchantress and she is. Fire immunes can give her probs but she still a very nice char.
Windy_thePooh 82 windy druid -- A windy druid was another char I started last ladder but ladder reset b4 I could finish. It took me awhile to get one started again just because by then I had lots of chars going so it hard sometimes to make time for new ones but I go at around to it and he turned out nice. His hurricane sound gets me chilly whenever I play him tho hehe. He is also only char in Kaytie Clan who doesn’t use an Act 2 merc. He uses an act 5 Barbie merc who swings a nice big eth law bringer col blade. His damage is not bad but his main job is to cast decrep on phys immunes so Windy’s twisters can kill em and it has worked out very nice I think.
ShockandPaw 84 weabear -- I love wearbears I think they are very cute and cuddly hehe. And shockwave is also one of my fave skills. But I am kinda spoiled now on druid gear. I think nothing beats a shape changer bear with Jalals and IK set. There maybe stuff just as good but nothing better cept maybe the big hard 2 get rune words like Last Wish but then IK set and Jalals a little easier to get hehe. But it took awhile and only one ever dropped so far at this point and wa son KaytieGrowls. But then a friend found a IK armor and said he didn’t want it so I got it and started a wearbear. He uses shockwave and maul and cuz he gives monsters frst a shock and then the paw he is named ShockandPaw .
WiggleDance 91 dancer sassy-- I don’t know how easy it is to tell but when I am playing wiggle I am having FUN!!! Dancers are so versatile nothing slows em down. Big tough boss monster she has tons of cb and a skill that hits with it 5 times per attack very very fast. Crowds of IM Knights her cb let her still kill with BF and her traps take care of rest. She can take lister if she have to and play with gloams. BlueKaytie is still my best meleer and still the muscle but Wiggle is almost as good and can handle other situations that give Blue a hard time. I’m still learning and make LOTS of mistakes when making a char but if there is any char I have who is even close to just perfect in that I wouldn’t change a thing at all it is WiggleDance.
Mjolinor 85 frenzy barbie -- a frenzy barb was another char I started at end of last ladder and got abandoned when ladder reset. He was another char that I made plans to start as soon as I got together all the gear I wanted and it took awhile but I am patient and by this time I have tons of other chars to keep me busy till I got enuff to start him. He uses hammers so I named him after Thor’s hammer. He nothing fancy he fast when he frenzys up but nothing out of control just a big quick tuff tank who is fun to play.
GreenKaytie 82 poison necro-- I never used full trangs set before and even though I had full set for awhile I never started one.. The casting bug on it is just too annoying but then I thought maybe a char like a dagger necro would work since he don’t really need fast cast anyways. He started out as dagger necro but his poison nova kills faster and that’s what he uses most. The slow cast still isn’t a problem cuz it good I think to wait a lil bit between novas to let the poison sink in. Plus he also fun in games with Sea cuz she scared of vampires and he chases her round the campfire in rogues hehe.
JainaSolo 91 JediZon -- Like I said before last ladder Jaina was my fave char she was my Tals sorcie all pretty and sparkly. She was highest level char in Kaytie Clan and the flagship char. Even now I use a picture of Jaina Solo for my avatar. But then ladder reset and she was retired. I HATE stripping my characters but it didn’t make sense to leave her gear on when she not using it and I had friends still playing off ladder who could use her gear so eventually I gave her stuff away but still couldn’t delete her. And for months and months she sat their looking all sad and it broke my heart I every time I went to refresh her but I still couldn’t delete her. Now by this time I starting to fill up my accts with new ladder chars and been delteing some of the old ones to make room and I am now back to making chars on my first ladder account where Jaina started. So know I have to look at her every time I play with some chars and made me even sadder.
But then I kept reading about JediZons and they looked so cool and so fun to play and I love Jedis and then I thought who could be a better JediZon than the coolest JedI Knight ever?? I was soo excited this was one of those times where I didn’t even worry about waiting for the perfect gear I knew I had a lighsabre and everything else I would figure out later as she got bigger. After that rest of Kaytie Clan took a break for awhile it was just Jaina Jaina Jaina and she was a blast playing again. We took out time playing just clearing out places and killing monsters questing alone or with friends there was no hurry we were having fun and it was wonderful having Jaina back and active in the Clan. She got to 91 very fast and is a nice happy member of the Kaytie Clan again. She not really flagship char again that is Magic’s job and he earned it. Jaina doesn’t really have a job. Other chars are designed to be clone hunters or key runners or to magic hunt or to help friends when they are in tuff spots but not Jaina. She did those jobs last ladder and lets her lil brothers and sisters do them now. Now she is just a clan elder who only job is to go out kill stuff and have fun hehe.
AKnightofStars 82 BF sassy -- Around this time I found another IK armor and started thinking what to do with it. I wanted to do something more interesting than I IK barbie and after reading a thread about different IK builds I thought that all the mods on the IK set would make a great BF sassy so AKnightofStars was born. Unfortunately when I made her I had NO idea that two handed weapons were double nerfed with bf and even the elem damage was double nerfed :/. So poor Knight was never as powerful as I had hoped. Plus she was a lil miffed that all the other sassys see shaw got to use cool neato claws and she had to lug around a big giant hammer. She did get her title with help from friends but if I have 1 char that was a lil short of want I wanted her to be it is her. Poor Stars it not her fault it just mine for being a big noobie and not knowing how BF works :/.
CryMeARiverr 82 warcry barbie -- Cry just your standard war cry barb he try to keep em dizzy while he sings and cries and have the stinkiest BO of all the barbies in the Kaytie Clan. He can be fun to play just a lil noisy hehe. War cry singers not ur best choice if you like sneaking up on monsters hehe.
AnakinSolo 86 conviction zealer -- Another HoZ drops so another paladin is born hehe. Mainly I wanted to try and make another paladin to see if I could make one who is just as good a meleer as Blue but isn’t so scared of IM knights. Last ladder my plan was when I made my first holy freeze paly was to give him 1 point in fanatcism and then let him use throwing weapon on switch. But that didn’t work very well so this ladder I used the points in other skills and blue just kinda pretends 2 throw things and hides behind other party members when IM Knights are around. So this time I made Anakin a gimmers using convicter and that worked out LOTS better whenever IM Knights around he just switch 2 throwing and can still kill ok. It do go slowing than when he zealing but he not as helpless. Blue is still a waaaay better meleer but Anakin no slouch at melee either
KnightFantastic 85 shadow knight -- if you cant tell by now I love shield using melee types hehe. And the fun I had with Alema and Jaina and Chocolate and my palys and even Wiggle and Misty had me wanting to make another shield using cahr who likes to melee. I read Heathers thread bout shadow knights and that seemed lots of fun so KnightFantastic was started. She not the strongest cahr I ever made but she does very well. Her big weakness is that has has noooo crushing blow at all so against bosses she can have problems but she can zooom through crowds and crowds of regular monsters. Plus she looks very coolies in her glads bane and grief sword hehe.
ElectricKaytie 84 tesladin -- I had so much fun building Anakin I decided to try another paly this time a holy shock paly. E-Kaytie is probably my best designed paly holy shock gives VERY nice elem damage and he has 1 point in conviction and that with plus skills and gimmers on switch mean he can play with IM Knights as long as he careful not to get swamped. And holy shock makes such a coolies sound when he first turn it on
SpinSycle 84 whirlwind Barbie -- I have never ever tried whirlwind skill. It always seemed like a very difficult skill and the chars can die easy if you don’t know what u doing. Plus all the barbies in KaytieClan have family inherited inner ear problems so they always got doctors excuse to get of of spinning class in Barbie school hehe. And I like concentrate and frenzy skills better so it was never a prob. But then I had ideas to make a Chaos sassy. But since I have never used whirlwind before I thought it would be smart to make a whirlwind barbie first and get an idea of how to use a regular whirlwind before I tried a variant of it and wind up messing it up. So Spin volunteered to take some dramamine and went to spinning class . He has done very nice whirlwind is lots of fun and he helped me learn how to play it better. He get picked on sometimes in channel just cuz he wears leviathan and sometimes his dramamine not kicked in yet so he can get a lil green hehe but it not his fault and he a real trooper and does his spinning best
Esmay_Suiza 84 chaos sassy-- the point I decided to make a chaos sassy is both happy and very sad. I liked that I had chance to make 1 but was also very sad. The reason was because chaos sassy gear very high end and hard to find. At least the gear I wanted to use. Now when I first came on b.net last ladder I played with a group of regulars from the Diablo usenet groups. They are some of the nicest people on b.net and made me feel very welcome and taught me lots bout the game. A few of them were using shared mules and when the ladder reset and were starting all over they invited me to be part of their team. Now they are all older players who play together to get away from pubis and rude people on b.net. Unfortuantely that tends to be younger players in the pubis. One agd reg calls em the “zit poppers” But even tho I was only 13 then they still nice enough to invite me. Not only were they some of the best players I ever seen players who skills made em legends even among the other top players of agd they were also some of the nicest friendliest classiest people I knew. They taught me lots how to play not just skill wise but how to behave in group games.So being invited to join their team was as big honor to me as when my application for ABM was accepted by the basin. Now all of them have been playing d2 loooong time some of them like tae and couple of others even help found agd when they played D1 so that mean like 10 years almost with same game basically. And they were getting lil bored and wanting something new. A couple left cuz of rl getting in way and then the rest all agreed to try WOW and they got hooked and pretty much left.
Now even though we shared mules I always did best not to take best stuff until I was sure we either had spares or nobody else had plans for it. It wasn’t to bad at all. we had some of the best magic hunters around and they taught me all I knew bout magic hunting so there was always plenty of stuff to go around. But still the chaos sassy gear I was gonna use big deal but after 3 months go by it was pretty much clear that they not coming back and I was now only one left on the team. So it was very very sad but I not bored with game yet and still have a few old friends on agd and TONS of new friends on basin so I kept going and Esmay was born.
And Esmay is a blast 2 play I LOVE spinning with her it looks soooooooooooo coolies hehe. Esmay is the latest member of Kaytie Clan to get her title and I am very very happy with how she turning out.
HeyBatterBatter 24 future IK Barbie -- recently another IK armor drop for me and figured ok lets try and IK barb this time. He still little right now but hopefully he will do ok. And his name is HeyBatterBatter cuz when there r monsters around he SWIIIIIINGS
JacenSolo 17 FistofHeavens paly -- Another HoZ dropped so I thought maybe it good time to try another paly. I always wanted to do a FoH play. I think the GOOOOONG sound is very neat hehe. And I thought it be nice for Jaina to have her brother back in clan again, even if in the books now he is turning into a n evil sith lord jerk :/ Jacen is the littlest and newest of member of Kaytie Clan but I am hoping he wont be the last

I do have a cpl of hc chars 1 on west and 2 on east but 2 r just kinda stalled in act1 norm and the other is a weak version of shadow knight sassy that I play in a group game. I am just noob still and really nowhere good enuff 4 hc. I get too paranoid bought dying and scared to go too far plus I can get very very attached to my chars and it hard for me to get into a char knowing that they could get lost forever it would just be too sad for me. And the char in group game only doing so good cuz she hides behind her party mates .

17, mostly my job is being deductable but over summer I had to ask ppl if they want fires with that cuz after I got my liscense dad said I had to pay for my own gas
My very first computer was a hand me down from my brother and it had tons of game son it including Civ2 which I played LOTS. later I got another handme down and this did have civ3 and I played it a little but noit as much as diablo 2 which I played BIGTIME. Then I FINALLY got my very own brand new computer and not long after that I got Civ4 vanilla and then the xpansions when they came out and been playing that pretty much ever sence.

Currently I'm learning Spanish, French, and Welsh simultaneously, it's pretty easy, except when I start drifting in and out of the three of them.

Currently I'm learning Spanish, French, and Welsh simultaneously, it's pretty easy, except when I start drifting in and out of the three of them.
