34, works for the armed forces, got a degree in electrical engineering and half one in law. These days into contract management (ie buys the best things for the best price (ie crap for peanuts...))

Started with civI the year it came out, I can't say I recall when that actually was. Since then, it's been in cycles when I've been hooked. Someone mentioned DiabloI/II, I guess that game ruined quite some exams for me as I did go to the univ when it came out, Strangely enough, civ never did that to me...

27 year old restaurant owner in Reno, Nevada. Was a consulting arborist ("tree doctor") till my wife convinced me to try something different.

Feeling better about my Civ addiction after reading this thread...

If this was a forum based on make up and how to dress. It would be all female and all not a day over 30.

Just 31 myself and office admin worker. Although a system analyst job might be fun. Just as long as civfanatics forum is not blocked. ;)

C'mon now. Some of us over 30's are still eye-candy. We're just starting to get crow's feet, that's all. :p

23, PhD student in Condensed Matter Physics, less Civ than I'd like because of it... :D

29, and I'm a teaching assistant in the special educational needs department of a high school (in practice, that means I go to classes with kids who have physical disabilities, learning difficulties, and/or serious emotional problems).

I started playing civ back in '92 (or thereabouts).

Well i flew the nest many years ago. If your looking for a bird house and your bringing the candy your always welcome here. Just dont eat it on the way.

I could already tell this from other topics, mainly the alpha centauri thread, but people who play civ are smart. Coincidence? I doubt it.

31. Bartender/slacker. Civ IV was first civ experience. Mostly a console guy going back to the NES. Only pc games I really ever got into were Civ and sims. Still, civ is BY FAR the most addictive video game I've ever played.

26 since yesterday... and I am currently drunk , otherwise doing a phd on electronic devices

18. Finished school and looking ahead into an uncertain future (though hopefully if I'm good enough, I'll have a bright future in acting). Got my hands on Civ III 4 years ago and have loved the series ever since.
