I assert my control as the new alpha-hyena.
OOC: Whoops, I missed that one... I must have cross-posted with you last update.I ask someone else to help me.
10 (12): You remember your old game strategy, and take a bite out of Terrance, transferring 15 hitpoints from him to you.mythmonster2 said:Find some way to heal myself.
10 (12): They defer somewhat to you.landlubber said:I assert my control as the new alpha-hyena.
10 (7): Not so fast, man! Sam just manages to stabilize you.Skwink said:I prepare my funeral plans.
2 (3): You just can't wait for him to die, can you?! He didn't build up his empire just for you to piss it all away! You get nothing!hendo said:I ask Skwink if he'll write me into his will.
8: You have nothing with which to heal.Red_Spy said:I heal myself.
11 (13): He receives a care package.Dhoomstriker said:Crazily ignoring the incoming Master, I discuss the social theory of saving those in distress with the head librarian, which causes her and her colleagues to deliver a restorative care package to Skwink, using the library's reputable, nearly-instantaneous delivery method.
18 (20): You embrace him in a bear hug, squeezing out 17 hitpoints and immobilizing him.Terrance888 said:I use Mythmonster2's distraction to launch a surprise attack.
1: You fall into a pit trap, suffering 12 damage and twisting your ankle.Verarde said:I chase after him, in an attempt to smack him around a bit using my gun as a club.
4 (6): You hit Terrance888 instead, for 16 damage.EnglishCrusader said:I let loose even more rounds from my MAC-50 at mythmonster.

3 (4): Your meddling leads to undue haste, in turn producing substandard results.Abaddon said:I run around (endurance), ensuring all preparations are met. Using my infamy also to ensure people do what I ask.
2 (1): In your haste to slash-and-burn, you forget to leave yourself an exit, and become trapped in a slowly-encroaching ring of fire. The fumes alone inflict ongoing 5 damage.CivCube said:Whooooooooooa. What if, like, trees were, like, living machines??? And they were all programmed to, like, kill everyone at a certain date.

OH MY GOD!!! I HAVE TO BURN THE TREES!!!
OOC: Well, one good reason is that being active often results in more harm than good. So, having the inactive players come to harm is really just a way of giving players a relatively equal chance to be wounded. It would be rather lame for someone to join the game with 100 hitpoints, not play for 30 rounds, then win simply because they rejoin when everyone else is nearly dead and they are still at full health. Why is there a penalty for inactivity?
