(Why is there a penalty for inactivity? I'd like to be notified if I have not been active in the so I won't suffer these inactive penalties )

Attlee and I insanely ignore the impending danger and discuss the academic definition of blood brothers, a discussion which crazily culminates in us biting each other and licking each others' blood.

Why is there a penalty for inactivity?

OOC: Well, one good reason is that being active often results in more harm than good. So, having the inactive players come to harm is really just a way of giving players a relatively equal chance to be wounded. It would be rather lame for someone to join the game with 100 hitpoints, not play for 30 rounds, then win simply because they rejoin when everyone else is nearly dead and they are still at full health.
