Romney up by 11 points!

Other polls suggest Obama leads by between 1 and 7.

Hopefully they might be more accurate. I wouldn't know, of course.

Not if you watch Fox news. According to Van Sustern, Romney leads among the young, hispanic voters, white working class and older people by susbtantial margins.

Sometimes, I'm not sure how they can claim to info-tainment when they deliberately skew facts or just ignore them.

What did you expect? Romney's spectacular campaign has been flawless so far (Knock on wood). The guy is on fire!

:lmao:

I mean, I fully expect for Fox to pull for their guy. But sometimes it just gets rediculous, they just make things up and tada! it's a fact.

Poor old Mitt. I'd vote for him.

If I was American.

And interested in voting.

But I have a strange sense of humour.

And I'm sure they always put my vote in a special wastebin.

New survey by some group so irrelevant that they don't even get a wiki mention....

Fox News recently had a poll where Romney was leading 9 to 1. It's such a landslide I imagine all the Hispanic voters the Republican governor intentionally disenfranchised yet again won't even bother to prove they are legitimate.

That's what I'll be doing November 7th whilst y'all are crying into your Honeycombs :D
I've been wondering what makes you such a Romney enthusiast. Is it the poor opposition during the primaries which made you such a fan? Is it because he's representing your party, and anyone but Obama would do?

Because I honestly can't for the life of me imagine what is attractive about the man himself as a possible president. Mind you, in US elections I go for character over content any day of the week since he'll not be my president, and I just have to watch the guy or hear him talk, so it might be the content that has got you all excited, but surely not the character.

Surely not.

He's a car-saleman.

Mind you, I supported McCain over Obama until the insult to American voters came along.

Ziggy, I've posted the answer to that multiple times since I've returned to the forums... Sorry, but I'm not repeating myself on that anymore. It's on record if you wanna dig, but short answer is "I like his stand on issues."

cue the flip-flop brigade...

What insult was that again? I don't remember.
Ms. Shoes for brains.

Ah, sorry to ask again. Shows how closely I follow these threads when content rears it's ugly head. At least I had content as the one motivator I understood.

@VRWCAgent - But dude, his stance on issues changes from day to day. Which of his multiple choice stances do you agree with?

You're welcome. ;)

@ZiggyStardust - oh god she was an insult.

So you're still betting on a Romney win?

I'm not saying hoping. I could understand you hoping for one. Do you actually consider a Romney win likely as a matter of cold, hard probability?

Excuse me butting in. But I can't help myself. Just ignore me.

It's not beyond the bounds of possibility, is it? Strange things, very strange things can - and often do - happen in politics.

"A week is a long time in politics". Never mind over a month.

In any case, you don't have to vote for the winner, do you? That would make elections very odd.

There's still the debates. The one time I do pay attention to content. Not the actual content, but rather whether a candidate is willing to provide some, instead of blabbering pre-scripted: America is great and I'll make it even greater nonsense.

The same group said Romney up by 25 points when they polled people in the Obama household.

An sample "unbiased question":

"If Obama was an evil space mutant bent on world destruction and Romney was a fairy godmother granting everyone their wish, who would you vote for?"

I'm not telling him not to vote for Romney. Forbid that. I'm asking him if, deep down, he really thinks the odds are good.
