A few rants.
I cannot fathom why in whatever hell we are building a courthouse. Wasted turns, wasted hammers. Should be building dog soldiers or another wonder.
While I can understand why we want the sheeps, it is not exactly urgent. We want the the hammers first and foremost.
Also, as you can see here:
We need no freaking roads to connect horses (although I don't see we want that either. Dogs are as good as chariots). But I still continue with the road
Anyway, I settled the merchant (I saw no objections to that, plus we only have 2 cities, so currency has no immediate effect -- in fact, we are only gonna have 3 cities, so currency will never have any effect since we also own the GL).
After Wheel, I researched IW (to see where iron is. If we can get swords, it will be much better. But alas, no immediate iron for us -- closes one is 2 border pop away. But IW also allows us to mine the gems, so it is good).
Hence, the worker is suppose to transfer to the Ethopia island next turn, together with a cat. To hasten transfer, here is the galleys movement plan.
I build another galley to protect the fish later (2nd city is building a WB).
Here is the current situation at Aksum ...
thanks to the stupid courthouse build, we can't possibly take it within the next turnset. I think we need at least 2 more cat and 2 more dogs.
I selected Monarchy (14 turns), although I think Metal Casting (25 turns) might help better -- with gems and forge. Plus triremes would be crucial. Colossus is also nice.
There is gonna be another GP arriving in 2 turns, around 50% chance of scientists, and equal chance on priest and merchant. Scientist or Priest should probably be kept to bulb another religion. Not sure whether settling is still better for a merchant.
