Hertz is the normal unit in the U.S., at least these days. I did a double take on seeing the "cycle" by the "110 volt, 60" as well. But I'm too young to remember what was standard in the 50s when that was printed.
I have a liftable table, it was a good purchase, I switch its height a lot more often than when I had a manual-adjustment one at work. Although we generally call them standing desks here. At least stateside, "electric table" sounds too similar to "electric chair", which was our most common method of conducting executions for most of the 1900s. You built a larger one than I have; mine is 60 inches by 30 inches, which is about 150 centimeters by 75 centimeters.

I bought a couple new mixing bowls, after my previous one split in two while being microwaved. If I'd known mixing bowls were as affordable as they are, I would've bought a second one years ago.
