Should AHMADINEJAD visit Ground Zero? Columbia?

The New York City Council probably denied ahmadinejijihad ( :) ) because they felt he'd simply make a political statement out of the whole dedication ceremony. Plus, the extra security costs for protecting him would probably be insanely expensive.

Yeah Yuck 9/11 being used as a disgusting political football. Luckily our great and amazing leader would never do this.

Ahjihadforyou is not here as a visit to the US. He is here to speak/explain himself at the UN. The US does not owe him visitation to a damn thing except the UN Assembly (and that is debatable). Do you want your tax dollars paying for security so that this guy can go pay his respects to the Saudis, Egyptian, Lebonese hijackers? If you think he wants to mourn the American dead, well... you cannot be reached.

Ahmadinejad has no place in this country unless he is visiting the United Nations -- and if it were up to me, it wouldn't be here. He is a sworn enemy of the United States and there is no reason that we should allow him any comfort, here.

So if the USA had a dictator (that killed thousands if not millions) it would be a bad thing to try to kill him or overthrew his gov't?

BTW after 9/11 people in iran held candle light vechles which other country in the mid-east did that? (Don't tell me israel because they were happy because of the dead american's)

Sure? And if bush tell you to kill all people that don't support him and i'm sure you would. Nothing like blind nationalism to get your blood boiling huh?

To start, I am not a Bush fan.

I take my cue from the man's own words. He sees us as an enemy and is actively working toward our destruction. Like it or not, that is the case.

We don't know what he means or if the translations were correct. He only sees our gov't as evil until the american gov't which sees people that can support themselves as the enemy.

Theirs an old saying "You can get more ants with honey then with water!"

Yep. She can check out the damage Reagan did to the country in retaliation the moment our hostages were safe.
I'm with you on that one; I'll never know why Reagan let go of that one. I would have turned Damascus into a crater, which would be a vast improvement over what it is now.

We usually sprayed poison to keep the ants out of our house.

I'm not opposed to poisoning Ahmadinejad, if that was your idea.

NO but that would be an act of war and the american empire would not like that at all (unless you own oil or weapon stocks then you really don't care about anyone else but yourself, huh?)

I don't see why he shouldn't be able to go, and quite frankly, I'm ashamed at our political leadership (even more than before) for reacting so fervently about it. Whatever happened to being gentlemanly about things? It's possible to get along even with adversaries, and yes, to show respect for their dead, and you for their's.

I heard it with "vinegar" instead of water, but that's pretty much the point I was trying to get across, I just couldn't remember the idiom.

I'm sure in the next few days bush is going to some how link 9/11 with iraq and iran and claim we are going to help the iran people by nuking them!

Because as far as the U.S. government is concerned, Ahmadinejad is a persona non grata and is only here because the United Nations is here.

I don't know where do you get your information about Israel. But in the few days after the attacks there was a gloomy feeling similar to the feeling after a terrorist attack in center of Tel-Aviv. I saw more American flags in Tel-Aviv than I saw in Seattle on 4th of July. The only case that I heard of Israelis celebrating after the attacks was of a group of illegal workers. There were probably more cases, but that was definitely not the general feeling.

Should we join Ahjihad and also pay respect to the dead hijackers by laying a wreath of our own - out of respect for Ajihad's feelings and our deep felt respect for the dead of our enemy?

You're right! It's time for the healing to begin! Come, America, join me in mourning for the hijackers. Let Ahjihad lead the way! A candlelight vigil, to remember the hijackers - our most glorious martyrs! I wonder if the wise and talented Ahjihad will sing kumbaya with us.

Reason #1:

Death to America

Reason #2:

Are you kidding!? Isn't reason #1 good enough?

Ahjihad is a piece of crap puppet of the theocratic, mass murdering, tyranical distatorship of the mullahs, and should be treated as such. The only reason this insane clown is even allowed to speak at the UN is to smooth the passage of increased sanctions against his terrorist country.

No reasons why Ahmadinejad shouldn't be allowed to visit Ground Zero. He's a national leader and should be treated like one.

Hitler, Stalin, and Mao were national leaders, as well. All that they deserved was a summary execution.

I forgave the hijackers a long time ago. I didn't say we should lay a wreath for them at ground zero, though.

Well, that is what Ahjihad wants to do. Anyone who thinks he is going there to mourn dead americans is too stupid to breath. He wants to go there to pay respect to the hijackers. Should we really allow (or even support via taxpayer security) for him to do this?

Why do you think everyone from Clinton to McCain is outraged?!
