Single Player bugs and crashes - After the 24th of February 2014

Seems the problem still existis.

Started a new game, latest SVN (7687) did a clean relead of the SVN.
The AI still does not build new towns.

Looking at the world builder they have no interesst in expanding at all.

Different CTD

Well... I was ABOUT to commit another dll that fixed the last reported one so let me run this save first and figure THIS one out now! ;)

So my last two games both crash when i try to build a slinger ( latestor very recent SVN), any idea why?

Another turn you may not like... jeez.

Ok, apparently the code didn't like being denied the ability to air strike units in tunnels when it came to the AI. I've fixed that issue now.

Any more? Bring it on.

I did a thorough search of the forums and found only one post pertaining to this (And it was a year old too), but is the C2C_ThreePlanets mapscript playable?

I picked the Game Options I wanted, saw the Map Options were similar to one of the Highlands scripts, and then picked Huge/Epic and my Civilization and started the game. It loaded for a while and then promptly crashed with no warning once the game would have started.

I've never ever actually been able to get this mapscript to load, ever since I first tried it. I thought updating to the most recent SVN might actually change that (It didn't the last two times I updated, but third time's the charm? Guess not  )
I don't usually update my C2C SVN often, not unless there's been some massive or important-looking change, but that aside... What exactly is this mapscript supposed to do? Is there some specific conditions it has to be played under for it to load at all?

We have been having some conflict with the terrain graphics which we have not figured out. You may be able to play it with one of the alternate terrains as the conflict does not happen with them.

How would I go about doing that?

In the meantime, I had started a new game with the Smartmap script and had been playing just fine for a while, up until this one point where the game just auto crashes after ending my turn. Same turn every time, but I can't really figure out what might be causing it.

Turn save and the dmp file here (That's all I really know how to find, and it's after this turn the game crashes for me)

@ TB, can you check your game and see if you can build a watermill, then if you still have one of mine check if the modern era worker can, thx.

They can't because you have Hide Obsolete Worker Actions on and you can already build Hydro Plants in their place. They upgrade to Hydro Plants so building one now is akin to building a grain gatherer on a plot. Not sure but they may even be completely obsoleted by the modern era.

The alternative terrains are in the mod mod section for download.

That map, btw, is still very much a beta testing map for eventual multi-maps and can't be said to be a good idea to have a serious game on.

Ah alright. I can't say that I have many serious games of Civ though

Is there anything I can do about my current one though, or is that game corrupted and lost and have to start over? I hadn't really done anything except change the bonuses 'Trade' gave (Reduced it to just +33% :commerce: from trade routes instead of the +50% to everything)
*Edit* Additional logs I forgot, that were created around the time it crashed (6:40am for me)

Couple of things

1. The Geothermal Energy can ONLY be built with a "fort or Command Bunker" to get resource, got to be something else that can be built to get the resource, HUH????? pic 1

2. Jet Bomber btn is now PINK pic 2

I'll see if I can take a look tomorrow perhaps. Been actually playing a game for once today.

Same here. I started as Osmans. Trying to train a Slinger crashes the game to desktop without message. Upgrading Stonethrowers to Slingers is fine and i have seen lots of Barbarian Slingers. Training Atlatlists later on is also fine. However, my civ died to a Barbarian invasion and now am controlling Assyrian Empire. Here is the same thing with Slingers. CTD trying to train one. SVN Revision says 7700.
Usual updating with complete deletion of caveman2cosmos folder and creating new one. The game was new, too, after downloading latest SVN.
