Single Player bugs and crashes v35 plus (SVN) - After the 18th of August 2014

What is the civ limit now in C2C? 50 civs per game? Is it possible to use C2C Civilizations Megapack! v4.0 from Sparth? http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=538110 Will it work with C2C svn? How many civs can i add to my worldmap in one scenario? Also give me a list of all civs now included in C2C please.

If i may, dont ever go over 20 civs. Even on a world map. If you want more civs, or i should say different civs, just make more different maps of the civs you want, but anything OVER 20 and you more than likely wont even make it to the Ren Era.

You can use this megapack but you cant in one game have more then 50 civs (actualy 49 IIRC).

But from my experience playing in C2C with more then 10-12 civs is hopeless. MAF sooner or later apear.
 
Given that Pit is probably attempting to build the biggest map size possible as well, he'll be guaranteed not to reach the Industrial Era.
 
44 civ worked so far pretty good with my SSD HDD, ok i will let it stay to the 44 civs for first then and because its bug free now i will game to the end one time. Did anyone modded an alien invasion for the later timelines in game already?
 
Hydro does not want any aliens in the game. I was going to add in the Martians from H.G.Wells' War of the Worlds as an alternate timeline.

Bottom line there are no alien civs.
 
How about an event that may happen or a tech that you can research but you dont need to that will attract aliens, like build SETI and aliens will notice you, so large alien invasion spawning all over the map, then big alien invasion war. Will clean the map in later games a bit. ;)
 
That sort of alien is what the barbarians are fore. We have some events like it already in game and that was how I was going to use to do the War of the Worlds invasion.
 
Maybe do it like an super large event like the movie Battle Los Angeles and this: ;) Then let spawn alien troops and forces all over the map...

Also 44 civ in my world scenario is no problem because if it goes to slow for the player later, he can go into world builder and delete a civ or buy a faster machine. ;)

Then next turn reinforcements arrive with new ones near the next set of largest cities and so on over a number of turns while the players and AI struggle to over come them or die. The barbarians would also build bases which would spawn more. Meanwhile the red weed would start to spread out destroying terrain features and improvements as well as killing off plant and animal bonuses. As per the book they would eventually die out on their own even if humans were not winning. Afterwards the humans would have some boost towards some techs or maybe some special alt-timeline techs.

Since it was an event it may not happen at all in some games. It would also require some changes to the Mars map.
 
Well, if it's an alternate scenario, with its own files in a My Mod folder, that's Pit's business what he puts in, not Hydro's.

Damn, sounds to cool to miss that. So if you dont want to add it to C2C mod we need this at least for the Ultimate Earth Map Scenario as modmod.

Also: I changed the name from Ultimate World Map to Ultimate Earth Map to fit the project better. Released...

I think you have made a mistake about how many players know how to or even want to use WB.

I use it a lot, but there is still loads, I do not know about.

I am sure lots of casual players still do not know about it.
 
OK. After a lot of testing - downloading the SVN numerous times, reverting back to older versions, exporting and loading a new game - I think I have found the SVN update that stopped the World Builder from working properly.

SVN 8483 (dll 8362) works OK in WB..

SVN 8484 (dll 8437) does not work in WB.

Not really. He handed control of his Crime, Disease, Pests and Buildings basically over to T-brd. I've been allowed to modify the 1st 3.

One of the changes done inbetween dll 8362 and dll 8437 was the Merge of Praetyre's work by DH into the Main module. This started with SVN 8398 and ended at 8414.

I thought Platyping's new WB had been added during that time frame but have not located it.

Perhaps the problem lies in the Praetyre merge. I'm not sure what all that entailed to be honest. Hopefully DH still remembers.

Okay then, between those 2 dll changes there was also some bug fixes for CTDs, among other things. And tons of art changes too.

When was playping's WB added in then, if you remember DH?

This scenario is for elite only and long term gamers, not for casual players. ;) But its easy, one klick to delete an entire civ, i can give a documentation for this. Its just to open the WB and select the civ, delete the civ. Thats it. But before we all reach the end of the game there will be mutch faster harddrives on the market i think. ;) Also this meens when it gets to slow for me i still can delete a civ and dont need to start a new game. They got killes by a supervirus then. :)
