Well that's a bug because no unit with bblendintocity in a city should stop the movement for or naturally conflict with any other unit while in that city.
@billw2015 you recently did some refactoring work in this area and may be better suited to quickly seeing what's wrong with this situation.
Similarly, I get why this happens:

It's due to there not being a persistent ongoing source of culture going into the plot every round so the culture begins to decay. The decay system I setup for culture doesn't seem to play well with 'fixed borders', where as long as the unit is there claiming the plot, it's claim on that plot shouldn't decay. I'm not sure what the best solution for this would be codewise.

Hi. New member here.
Sorry for barging in but I'm having a bit of a problem.

I've played C2C in the past and I just recently updated to the latest SVN version.
However on attemping to load the mod it just goes back to the desktop and dosen't even reach the title screen.

I am aware that having a mod folder in documents can prevent it from working but upon deleting the folder, it just reappears after relaunching the game.

I've tried to upload the minidump it produces but the file type is not supported to upload on this forum. I am running Windows 10 Version 1909 OS Build 18363.592 and Civ IV BTS on Steam.

Delete mod folder in my documents, and install it in Mods folder where BTS exe is located.
Mod must be called "Caveman2Cosmos"

I've tried that but the folder comes back once I relaunch the game.

The mod folder is where BTS.exe is located and is called Caveman2Cosmos.

Exit steam and then delete mod folder.
Maybe steam is bit overzealous?

I just tried it and it still doesn't work as I have to inevitably relaunch Steam to load the game which causes the folder to come back.

How are you launching mod? Don't use command prompt (that is shortcut with -caveman2cosmsos or something like that), instead edit BTS ini to launch mod.
That ini folder is in C:\Users\<USERNAME>\Documents\My Games\Beyond the Sword

As long as the mods folder in your documents doesn't contain a Caveman2Cosmos folder then it's fine, there is supposed to be a mods folder in "\Documents\My Games\Beyond the Sword"

Zip it, or change its extension from .dmp to .txt

In the \Documents\My Games\Beyond the Sword\CivilizationIV.ini file:
Under [DEBUG], set ↓
loggingenabled = 1

Start the game once; and then upload the content of your \Documents\My Games\Beyond the Sword\Logs folder.

raxo2222- I am launching it via the included batch file. Should I not be using it?

Toffer90- Done. I've uploaded the zip file.

The Large Solar System map currently has Manganese spawned on land tiles (e.g. in Northern South America, in Eastern Russia, in Gobi Desert region). It appears that Manganese is meant to be a water-only resource, but if, by any chance, it's not meant to be this way, I've included a patch that enables Manganese to be obtained from mines (I renamed the extension to .txt so it's allowed to be uploaded here).

Start the game normally through steam.
If you want it to load C2C right away when you start the game, then a small tweak in the ini file will do that for you.
\Documents\My Games\Beyond the Sword\CivilizationIV.ini
Under [CONFIG]
mod = Caveman2Cosmos
Toffer90- Done. I've uploaded the zip file.
The logs didn't provide any clue as to what may be wrong.
@billw2015 Perhaps the minidump does?

@raxo2222 what do you think of it? I'm aware that manganese is mostly mined from the sea floor but I can easily correct it in the scenario.
It is meant to be water only resource.
Before that you can get manganese as bonus for having pair of certain resources in vicinity (one building produces that resource).

Got a repeatable CTD when the game switches to a worker unit that has just completed a "Helioform a Brown Dwarf" improvement on a Red Dwarf terrain. Crash occurs in the save "June 10", after the the Fusion Destroyer near Jerusalem has finished its turn (or by clicking in the interstellar space on the mini-map, in the top middle of the yellow territory).
Included is a save from the turn before (May 25). If you stop the worker unit from completing the improvement (near the city "Super Earth"), no crash occurs. Also included another save (June 25), where I did just that. If you tell the worker to finish the improvement now, it crashes immediately.

I use "Rescaled Latitude Limits for Large Solar System map" mod mod.
Been playing with SVN version 11102 or 11103 for a while until the crash. I updated to 11109 to check, but get the same crash.

I tried deleting the cache and turning down the graphic options from high to medium, but no difference.

Side note: I also noticed that the "Mission to Galactic Core" gives the wrong mission reward (interstellar instead of galactic core), but I was able to easily fix that in the XML. Don't think this has anything to do with the crash, though.

Looks like improvement graphic needs to be changed - someone made it red blob before
Now it looks like Core Mine.

Those two errors are now fixed, and being pushed to SVN.

Running SVN 11109. On Developing Traits, if you pick Organized 2 it invalidates Cristo Redentor. I am not supposed any anarchy whatsoever.
