Skyrim - The Elder Scrolls V

Thanks.

I am struggling in Potema Sanctum in the large room with the rotating shock surges and skeletons. I probably don't have enough potions for a Level 19. Anyway, I tried to go back to buy more, and I cannot get back out through the revolving doors. They did not stay as I left them and I cannot find a switch on this side. :( Is forward the only way?

Is there any defense against the guy who repeatedly knocks my weapon out of my hands? He is nasty.

If anything else fails, reduce the difficulty a bit. Or if you're extreme, you can toggle god mode on.
A good defence from melee is usually spells and such if you're having trouble with him. If it's a shout he's using, try only to use spells against him, since he can't knock that away from you.
Other than that, I'm not too familiar with the name, someone else can probably remember that better than me.

Potema is now really dead. Yea! I'm up to level 20 now.

Is there a path in enchanting that leads to being able to add multiple enchantments to s single weapon or armor?

After Whiterun, what's the best choice for a second house?

Can only manage 2 with Extra Effect at 100 Enchanting.

Honeyside in Riften has an Enchanting table and is the second cheapest.

Markarth's is also fairly affordable and super neat to boot! My favorite how remains Winterhold. Not outrageously expensive to buy and outfit, and I think its design is far and away better than Proudspire Manor in Solitude.

Ehh, I like the great view of the Sea of Ghosts from the porch on Proudspire Manor. And Solitude is a city I don't mind spending a night in. It's just that beautiful.

I haven't been to Riften yet. I keep getting sidetracked.

Of those three, I have only been to Solitude; I guess I should at least find out where Proudspire is.

I like the idea of a balcony with a view.

I do like Proudspire Manor. It's outrageously expensive, but it's well equipped, looks nice and is on the main road between the shops and the Blue Palace. Breezehome in Whiterun is even better situated for amenities, but isn't nearly as nice.

I mainly use spells against a Drauger who keeps using the "blow my weapons outa-my-hands" dragon shout on me. A spell to summon a sword would be advantageous in this case.

Hunting down the Dragon Priest masks at the moment, all I'm missing is Morokei and Krohsis.

Do the Mages Guild questline to find Morokei

Morokei was probably my first dragon priest. I had loads of fun figuring out a strategy so that he wouldn't oneshot me since I were at such a low level. :)

Krosis is located at one of the dragon peaks with the wall that has three words.

I accidentally found 3 dragon priest masks without even quite knowing anything about them or the quest. Krosis was one of them. That's actually my main headgear... It's kind of annoying that some of the most powerful items in the game completely cover up the hard work you made when carefully designing your character's face.

Nobody in-game has referred to the place where you're supposed to go and put them. I know that it exists, but I haven't stumbled on it and nobody has talked about it. That's with my level 46 character. Weird. I mean I could go and check all of this on gamefaqs or something but I didn't. I just know there is a place for them.

Judging by the loading screens, I imagine that there's a large wall to put them all on.

Well then, next time, check for footprints in the butter! :)

So he is using a "shout"? Interesting. Does resist magic help against shouts? Maybe my "sure grip" leather wrist protectors will help. ;)

I think it's at the entrance of one of the larger dungeons in the game, which nobody has sent me too. Although maybe I did go and walked past the apparatus without seeing it. I'm the kind of guy who misses the elephant in the fridge.

You were sent to it during the Staff of Magnus quest, :).

Which means to get all of the masks, you have to do the Mages Guild questline.
