Skyrim - The Elder Scrolls V

Getting that mod working (thanks for those tidbits) gave Oblivion a bit of a fresher pace. Should keep me occupied untill friday next week. :D

The mudcrabs are actually surprisingly detailed in skyrim, when they're supposed to be the most incompetent and useless mob in the whole franchise.

I don't like mudcrabs. In fact I don't like fighting any sort of short fauna, be it fantasy or not. Seriously, who likes to fight rats, slimes, crabs and whatnot in a first person game. Ugh.

Fun for archery and hunting for food, though I would have liked some gigantic versions.

glad to hear you're enjoying :D

First thing I'm going to do is head to the southern-most point and peer into Cyrodiil. See if they took the time to do some nice art work beyond Skyrim's borders. :)

Not a bad idea. Wonder if I can shoot fireballs at Cloudruler Temple. :p

There is only so much they can fix with those bloody script extender and wyre bash and extra annoying programs and it would be really nice if you, for once, you didn't NEED twenty mods just to fix stuff in the game.

At least Bethesda actually has playtesters, which I can't really say for Obsidian.

This is off topic, but Alpha Protocol is an awesome (after all the bug fixes) and in some respects better than Deus Ex:Human Revolution. Also the things that worked in KOTOR 2 were huge improvements over the original game.
Obsidian could easily be my favorite studio if they wouldn't consistently release half-baked beta versions.
