So why was CFC down (on and off) the last 3 days?

Also, you guys should give these admins bit of slack. :/ they're doing the best they can to fix the server and I can't help but feel you guys don't appreciate it at all.

I'd agree with you if this was a new issue, but this has been around for several months, and we had what I like to call the Golden Age of this server where the 'server is busy' messages only appeared every couple days rather than every couple minutes for a month or two.

Besides that, this has been a daily problem, and I would not be surprised if activity on this forum begins to sharply drop after another month of this.

To be perfectly honest I haven't noticed these issues until like 2-4 weeks.. (maybe cuz I was away for a while) but even before I never really remember seing "Server is to busy" that often.

No, databases got corrupted, and whoever that controls the CFC twitter decided to wait many hours to contact somebody to help.

Also, another weird thing, if I change between computers threads that I have read are marked as unread. It is odd.

The subscribed threads are still there. Only every thread got set to "read", so no unread notifications for subscribed threads show up.

No it's not. Only fiftychat.tk is down. I'll change the link in my sig and make the other site useful.

MySQL Error : Table './civfanatics/post' is marked as crashed and last (automatic?) repair failed

Amen to that.

I personally don't care about threads being subscribed or not, the only thing that really matters is that I don't get database errors or 'server is busy' garbage.

Once that is fixed, then focus on the 'nice to have' stuff.
