The Mighty Ghaznavid Empire! Found on SoI (Plus) Edition
Merkurios is getting out of hand! I guess he wanted more cows.
How did the Ghorids survive all the way to 1486? They have an impressive empire too.
The biggest Byzantine Empire in 1300 that I have ever seen:
The Makurians were also thriving, again:
Jusos, Is it 0.3.5 or 0.3.4? Cause it looks like all those civs refused to collapse still. I mean. Abbasids, Seljuks, Ayyubids, Ghaznavids, Armenia (not Cilicia!) etc. are alive past 1300 looks like the 0.3.4 bug.
lol at i guess he wanted more cows
0.35 is the version I use, Makuria is actually stable. Ayyubids, Zengids and Seljuks collapsed soon after this. Notice the year 1253, which means that the mongol invasion aren't over yet.
Ghaznavids survived because I spanked the Ghorids for them. We also did some tech trading. Later the moron declared war on me so that was the end of that story.
Alp is being almost as fast as he should be!
Ghaznavid Hamadan, Sindh Estafan and Khwarezmid Shiraz in 1350!
Even weirder, the Ghaznavid India
Weirdest, the Ghaznavid Armenia
And they are stable..
I loaded a Safavid start once where Sindh was in 1st place and controlled most of southern Iran, but they collapsed soon after.
I saw Abbasids conquered Constantinople in my epic Oman game.
Edead really has a good sense of humor. Haven't really finished a game since the new version. I just finished my Abbasid conquest game (apparently you can have unlimited vassals). Imagine my delight when the theme song for victory in the new version is...
The Super Mario Brothers theme song!
Credits go to MessageMan for this one
Are those really Persian instruments playing this?
It's Arabian oud + guitar.
Reminds of it played on pipa (a little more polyphonic and virtuosic):
Or it played real time with violin with the star theme and end of level music too:
Long time i haven't played SoI, and i couldn't resist the temptation to look the worldbuilder
Georgia dumbly collapsed and let those alan swordsman free pass to armenia.
Latin Baghdad and Fatimid Al-kufah (I think)
And somehow Khanate of Khiva vassalizes to the Timurids but is at war at the same time.
You posted the web addresses not the URLs I think.
I have never seen Latin Basra! What difficulty was that?... The last pic reports a bug.
Under what circumstances do the Byzantines become the "Roman Empire"? I've never seen that one before.
They don't. The Turk renamed Byzantines to Romans in his SoI Plus modmod, and that's where the screenshots come from.
Separate names with a comma.
