StarNES: Updates Without Number (Epoch I)

Yep, though 5 moons is still a lot, Terrance!

I will be posting the first update at midnight. GMT-5.

Spend 20 to put a star in hex 0505. Name it Galzog.
Spend 5 to put a small gas giant in hex 0505.
It's a binary system!

Also, I did pay 2 gold each- I got 5 moons, right?

Actually, you can make binary systems by plopping down two stars in a hex.

As for other special features, such as pulsars... I had not thought about them. Hrm. I might make it a random chance per turn for a star to become super-awesome or something.

Like add in more planets and asteroids and such? Yeah, definitely. However, to create binary star systems you have to do it at the first creation. I'll edit the rules to mention this.

Im in.

Aww shucks.

Anyway! Haven't checked to see if it was asked already, but:

1: What happens if an asteroid hits a gas giant?

2: Can teeny (Edit: hospitable?!!) terrastrials orbit huge gas giants? LIKE MOONS? I AM SO EXCITED :0

Wher'e's' my points boyu.

1: The same thing that happens in real life: it either is crushed and utterly destroyed or it goes straight through.

2: Yes, moons can potentially be terrestrials. AVATAR.

No, not Avatar. Neelix's planet! *shakes mane*

35 POINTS BRO:

Wormhole connecting 2012 to 0308.

5 points: STOCKPILE and whatnot.

I am intoxicated. Please excuse me.

Yeahhhhhhhh >:0

I should've done 1066 or 1492. I wanted them sufficiently far away, though.

Update I: Apple Pie

If you wish to make a NES from scratch, you must first create the universe......

A lot of stuff happened in this update. Well, not really. Some stars formed, a wormhole tore itself open, and a couple of planets were either unpleasantly flatulent or still-born (this is the only fart joke I will ever make in a NES), save one.

In the Nessos Galaxy several stars flickered into existence.

First came Pharon, which shortly thereafter spawned Pharon-1, a small gas giant orbited by four moons. The largest of these moons was orbited by its own moon.

Shortly thereafter the universe exploded with activity.

Gaseous lights flared and the stars of Galzog, Madarak, Laquonis, and Miyabi were born. Around them were numerous still-born or airy planets, all made up of fire, rock, brimstone or gases of all kind, save for Madarak-I, a literal paradise of life and all things green/leafy.

Elsewhere the galaxy tore itself a new one and linked two distant quadrants to each other, creating the first wormhole, but hardly the last.
