I saw one of his posts as well, which gives me a little bit of hope that he'll show up soon. Takhisis will replace bestrfcplayer at the end of this phase is he doesn't. Normally, I'd wait until at the earliest the end of the Night Phase to replace someone, but he hasn't even confirmed his receipt three days after it was sent. I don't think it will do more good to keep his spot for another day than to just replace him. Of course, if he's lynched...then he's lynched.
Chance of him being scum or not, by design he probably will also have a useful item that is not being used due to inactivity. We really want to maintain as much item knowledge and control as possible at all times here due to the dangers of the scum abusing them. Knowing that we collectively could have that up for a vote tomorrow is worth something.
I agree. Paraphrasing from Professor Askthepizzaguy Ph.D, each lynch is something that the town can use against the Mafia. Lynching randomly or at a random on the first day is better than no lynch because the Mafia are sure as hell not going to kill the Mafia for us with their nightkills.
Three Two days had passed and nothing official had been heard about the break-in. Being kept inside Section 13 that entire time made a few of the workers start to lose their patience and reason. Words and transient accusations were followed by actions/ Eight especially vocal members announced as the sun set that bestrfcplayer was the criminal. Citing his lack of concern for the welfare of Section 13, a mob of angry workers became enraged by their words. Before the Captain could intervene, bestrfcplayer was seized, and disappeared into the crowd. By the time he emerged, he had accrued multiple bruises and cuts and had lost all holds on life.

Upon searching him further, they found that he possessed the Sheep Talisman, with the power of Astral Projection.
Disappointed to find that bestrfcplayer was not the traitor, the mob of workers headed back to their holding cells, leaving a befuddled Captain and a Talisman whose fate would be decided in the morning.

The body of Bsmith1068 was discovered early the next morning by one of the janitors. It was a gruesome thing to see, and it looked as if an elephant had thrust its leg straight into the poor man's skull.

The Captain ordered him to be searched for a Talisman, but a speedy inspection of the corpse confirmed that he was not carrying one.
"That can't be right...he was one of the few I gave one to, he obviously has a Talisman."
It was possible that the murderers stole the Talisman from Drew, but the Captain soon realized the truth was much worse. He had never given him a Talisman...it was bad enough to give one to Paco and Jade, why trust another child with powerful ancient magic? But everyone in Section 13 was surely standing before him, yet he couldn't see the man he ordered that Talisman to anywhere. A sickening fear enveloped him as he confirmed to himself, and by way of his visible discomfort, to those around him that the Dark Hand had been handed a Talisman.
"Our investigation has proven inconclusive. The infiltrators are almost certainly in possession of a Talisman that will render it impossible for us to identify them by sight alone. We have no leads ourselves - so stay alert and take careful note of the actions of those around you. Any one of them could be planning to murder you before this day is over. I want each of you to report anything suspicious to us. " He gestured to himself and a few other respectable figures of the building.
Perhaps more urgently, they needed to decide what to do with Paco's Talisman from the previous day. And on this stale note, Section 13 set to work for another day, buisness as usual.

Okay, that's...interesting to say the least. IIRC, the talismans are based off the Chinese calendar. That means one of four things:
1) The GM is trolling us and there is less than 12 talismans (unlikely)
2) The GM is trolling us and the Mafia DO start with a talisman (even more unlikely)
3) Someone has two talismans instead of one (possible)
4) I am wrong about there being 12 talismans (I need someone who has watched the show recently to confirm that one.)
So, to the current situation of killing scumbags. Honestly I have no idea who is scum, however if we vote for someone randomly then we have a two-in-seven chance of killing a Mafioso. So I will vote for Vote: sirtommygunn because I think No Lynching is silly. And just for the lulz I will vote sirtommygunn for the sheep.
@Turquoside: Can we vote for the sheep talisman to NOT be distributed or can it just sit in our stockpile?
