Well, he doesn't normally have access to the computer and he has his own schedule, so I predict two to three more days of inactivity before we hear from Sanguiv again.

Sorry for the extremely long delay and the promise that was not kept.
Again, I am trying to figure out the best schedule so that I can complete my work and have personal time.
This last week has been a mess for me, going into buildings that I don't know, trying to find classes, entering programs and whatnot.
I should have a much more routine schedule starting next week, which means that there will be regular times that I go on.
Again, sorry for the delay.

Nah, every once in a while Sanquiv takes an extended leave then comes back and delivers 2-4 updates withing the same week.

Even if he decides to quit, to leave or even to permanently keep absent, I have the save waiting the decisions of the last council. When anything leads us to believe this story won't go on on the hands of sanguiv, then we may decide what to do with the save and the position of Caliph.
Of course I still want him to keep going with his story as Caliph, but I prefer this story alive no matter who else is willing to be the storyteller and/or the Caliph, then let the story die because of absence.
Let us wait more to see what Sanguiv has to tell us. Long live the Caliph!

What we lack the most is the storyteller. Sanguiv has the knowledge on the muslim subject, must have a good memory of major events of the game and knows the namings and related stuff to give it flavor.
A Caliph (or game player) is easier to replace. Although the Caliph and the storyteller are better if they are the same person, this isn't mandatory.
I hope sanguiv can organize his schedule and return, but if he doesn't show up then we will have to do something. We could start a brainstorm about it.
