The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

Also, is the trader in Anvil, with a purse of 1200 gold the highest there is? it annoys me to no end to sell this guy my Daedric armour for 1200 gold only for him to try to sell it back to me for 6000.

Soon you will have so much money you wouldn't care about it at all. I ended the game with something like 300,000 Gold, hundreds of pieces of weapons and armors, among many other goodies. :D

Oblivion is a wonderful game. My only complain is the game has far too many boring dungeons, caves, forts, gates, etc. After a while I don't feel compel to explore them anymore because they are not much different from others. They should have reduced the number by half and make them more unique and interesting.

I dig the number but they were repetitive. For the Money and items. I have collected every magik item I've come across and sroll and gem and horded them in my homes. I just want expansion packs to feed my addiction.

there is an expansion pack coming out iirc however am I right in assuming that no such thing will be released for the 360?

If its done like Morrowind the XBOX will get an expansion too. You may need to buy another game with the expansion added to it like Morrowind.

I just got a new comp that can play oblivion at a respectable level.

Bonus screencap of chorrol.

Arborwatch is my favourite home, plus rasheda the smith in town is one of the best in game. Oh, and I beat the game in under a week (and got up to level 20).

:D I can see from the very western edge of the game to Kvatch, and can see the imperial city from north of Bruma.

How do you access the console menu? I keep reading its accessed by hitting the "~" key, but that doesn't work for me. One place I read said

"You may need to add a -dev or -devuser switch to the command or target line to the game executable via a Windows shortcut."

Do I have to do something similar to the above to access it? I've already beat the game and am going through it again and just messing around. I'd like to be able to use this console to test things out, but can't access it. Thanks!

I haven't managed to buy Arborwatch in my game.. I assume I need to talk to someone in the town, just like in other cities?

EDIT: Just did a search on it... need to talk to Courtess Valga.

Can anyone help me with something out here.

I'm interested in getting Xbox Live. Now, how good are the downloads available for Elder Scrolls? would it be a good reason for getting Live?

You get it from a quest from a daedric shrine.

Vaermina, if i'm not mistaken... yup, Vaermina.

She's at the

shrine on the NE coast of Lake poppad in the Nibenay Basin.

I re-installed Oblivion after my computer crashed. I searched the web for some mods and I found one that tweaks the leveling system so scamps can't stomp a guards butt. Do I have to uncheck the main game files in the Data Files section to have it work properly?

The mod is Here.

No, at least I've never unchecked them when I run the mods I use. To be honest, I'm not even sure what happens when you uncheck them.
