I thought that Canadians mostly spoke English?

K so, I have no idea what you're talking about BirdJaguar :p You're not one to joke around, but I really only hear English there.. or maybe you are!

Either way, we lost this game 2-1, unfortunately.. I got a couple photos of Thierry Henry, and it was cool to see him play. Bostock, who some of you might know from Tottenham, scored a consolation goal for us, but all in all it was a bit of a disappointing game. Our manager, Ryan Nelsen, heavily criticized the team afterwards.

Ephraim, on loan from QPR, had a decent game though.

I didn't think any of it was English, hence my post. :p

I listened again and have to concede, that they are speaking in English.

Only if my recent peanut and banana sandwich was dipped in red wine, lots of red wine.

With the other camera back in play, I still can't figure out what picture to take for this one. :twitch:

Fermented peanut butter and banana sandwiches, pass some my way!

Here's Mr. Yeti at a baseball game. By the way, what name did we give this guy? I totally forget now

It was up between this photo and the TFC one, but the TFC one has the CN tower in the background, so while baseball is more uniquely north american, the TFC photo edged out this one by just a bit.. Plus the lighting conditions were a lot better

Here's a video of our Yeti trying to get into the game. Unfortunately it was facing the wrong way, so it couldn't really see what was going on, but this was after a couple beers, so it was understandable
You let an underage Yeti drink beer?!

BTW, Warpus... please don't worry about hustling the Yeti to me. I still don't have a camera, it snowed again yesterday morning, I'm going in for surgery in a couple of days, and don't know how soon after that I'll be able to do this. I do have somewhere in mind just in case the weather keeps on being crappy (we had a wind storm the other day, too). The problem is forcing myself to leave the building in the first place to get there...

Not gonna lie: seeing the yeti in someone else's pictures is weird.

I have it all ready to go in terms of me bringing it into work. If it gets busy there, I might keep it around and mail it tomorrow instead, but if I have a light day I'm mailing it!

I hope your surgery isn't serious!
Okay - just fair warning, everyone - it might be a bit of time before I can take the picture. Of course if the surgery goes well and recovery isn't too long, I can do the picture sooner. In any case, I'll do it ASAP.

At least I don't have a horrible summer cold like last time. It was brutal, getting over that.

A. The only thing I'd be able to see is the doctor, and he's not that photogenic.

B. I won't be conscious, so I can't take a picture anyway.

How about Eddie the Yeti?

I gave him a name in the notebook, but I don't expect it to stick, because I kinda came up with it on the spot..

He's been mailed by the way! Here's the tracking info, whether you care about it or not!

edit: The girl at canada post totally give me a cute "aww" look when she saw I was mailing a plush toy to a girl. I did not want to tell her the real deal because I'm a jerk
