Bumble’s World Travels and Extraordinary Adventures: Take 2
September came and the heat wave broke,
You could cross the desert without a stroke;
The Rio Grande might be a wall,
But lack of rain had made it small;
He swam the river without his papers,
The first of many illegal capers;
Then one morning the cats were cryin’
Open the door, see what we be findin’
Barefoot, tired and without his hat,
Sunburned and dazed, on my porch he sat;
Pilfered chile filled his pack,
Recently roasted and in a burlap sack;
Less than a week our Yeti stayed,
His world round trip too long delayed;
High Fives and hugs and even kisses
From me and the Birdjaguar missus;
With a funny waddle and a cheery wave
He promised that he would behave;
So off he went to the northern wild,
Bumble our, Abominable child.
