Thank God we don't get snow here.

There was a commercial on for Hyundai and the car being shown was playing in snow, and the little text at the bottom read, "Australian Model Shown" which my wife found hilarious.

And so I responded, "actually, it snows in the mountains in NSW and in western Tasmania" to which I got silence.

A moment passes.

"You read too much Wikipedia."

It was a true statement.

ANYWAY

Dropping my mom from this as she's moving to either Alaska or Alabama and won't know for a month or two. I'll PM the relevant parties.

I didn't realize the poor fellow would be subjugated to Ohio.

Mind giving me a city / area so I can update the map?

Nice to see we are making progress.

It is fun; we just need to keep things moving.

It's coming here from Perth but it still has to leave the US.

Hey guys,

My domain registrar started threatening to take me to collections after they renewed the yetiworldtour.com domain with a cc I no longer use and which doesn't exist anymore and after they've been pestering me about it for the last couple weeks and I haven't cared enough to respond.

That was enough to get me off my butt and.. send them a strongly worded email of course, which was totally out of line given my lazy past behaviour. Then I got bored of screwing around with them and gave them my new billing info.

So we have the domain for another year, but maybe we could put together some sort of a fund to keep it afloat or something? Cause otherwise we're just really exposing the domain to my unpredictable futuristic whims. It will always be accessible via http://kemot.org/yetiworldtour no matter what happens, btw, so the domain name is not technically necessary (as long as I keep kemot.org around, which is my own personal space for tinkering around and whatever else, so I probably will)

Either way I will do some research to see how to get a good multi-year rate, so then if people are interested in contributing we could get it for 5 years or whatever and get a much better deal. But I really have no idea about the pricing as I'm not really a domain buying/selling guy, so I'm going to have to look into it.

Bumble has been touring Ohio, learning what it is about this state that makes people decide to go all the way to the Moon, and what it is that makes quite a few of them come back again!

To start with, Bumble thought that, as a relative of the Bigfoot, he might as well find the largest animals that he could which were native to Ohio. So, he set out to the west of Columbus, and was successful in his mission to come across bison!

The bison to the left of Bumble in the picture, the bull, was curious enough to look and see what the new creature was, but resumed grazing soon thereafter, while the other bison didn't pay Bumble much attention. Oh well - Bumble looks bigger than the bison in this picture!

While he was in the area, Bumble explored the Ohio prairie.

Grain, small birds, and likely small mammals and (once it got warmer) reptiles, nearly as far as the eye could see. This wasn't a yeti's natural habitat, but it still could make for a decent site for a yeti sighting at night.

More photos, including evidence that there are indeed buildings in Ohio, will be coming once the photos are properly backed up... Quintillus nearly lost the high-res version of the prairie picture while uploading them!

Also, is CivCube still next on the list? I'm not sure if I have his mailing address; I'll check my older inbox messages.

Edit: Okay, I do have CivCube's mailing address. But I do want to verify that he's still in and that he hasn't moved before sending Bumble along.

Yippie Ki yea! We are moving once more.

omg Ohio is so green right now!

*looks out window*

Okay I sorta miss it at the moment.

I've been in contact with CivCube. I'll PM him again to confirm.

CivCube's address is the same. Send away, Quint.

Bumblage confirmed! I'll get some pictures up soonish.

Hooray!!

Guys, we're being put to shame by the hitchbot. He's going to make it to Mars before Yeti ever makes it to Europe.

According to yetiworldtour.com, the yeti si still in Virginia. This hasn't changed in months. Is this thing ever going to make it out of the U.S.? :/
