How did you get so many posts in the past 7 years? I know people at other forums who only got 20,000 posts and it took them 8-12 full years to get that. You almost got 30,000 in 7 lol.

Hey! I resent that! I may have started out pretty terribly but I've gotten a lot better over the years! I've come a long way from those days of proclaiming my adoration for Charles XII and quoting Barbara Tuchman haha.

To be honest, I don't remember ever thinking your early posts were all that terrible. Or at least it was that way in the OT; I didn't frequent the history section all too much back then.

The quality itself wasn't terrible, but the content was. I think my point is I've come a long way in terms both of my actual historical knowledge as well as in how I approach history in general.

And politics too, but that's besides the point.
