Game Finished:

"This system must be isolated from the Multiversal Federation (before its aggressive tendencies spread). The Galatic Incineration Missile is being sent. Evacuation (of Aries employees) commence."

Such an evil cannot long endure. Freedom, love and justice tug at the hearts of every sentient being in this galaxy and beyond. As the roots of a tree break through the hardest stone, the bonds of love and the desire for personal growth will eventually break through - and bring crashing down - even the most oppressive and tyranical of empires.

The more that Iggy tries to oppress us, the greater the contrast becomes. The clearer the choice becomes.

Every wise man of every culture and race in history knew this to be true. There was only ever one path, and there is only one future. A future where we all embrace the divine creator within ourselves and within others. A future where we truly realise that we are all one...

Ooh, Galactic Incineration Missiles? How wasteful. That would make you infinitely more aggressive than the Maximal Ultimarchy could ever be... you have either learned well from the tutelage of the Battlemasters, or are the mightiest lord in all of Hypocrisia.

Hey, everyone has put up a solid fight, we're more than happy to embrace you as battle-brothers now.

At any rate, engaging countermeasures. While we love war, we hate slaughter, and the galaxy cannot be evacuated in time. We have never slaughtered captured populations, rather, we incorporate them into the Ultimarchy. Just felt we should clear that up before you annihilate your own people.

Our Corporate evacuation machines have already removed safe worlds out of this exisitance. :p (I am thinking that while the Aries Corporation is liberal in their views, they are under the contract of a reactionary Multiversial Federation, but this is just pigskin to throw around, it might not be canon later. )

So have you guys just started a new game? I just created an account, and im saving the second slot for a game started from here on CFC. Any idea when a new game might start? Link when it does?

Great tactical timing on your side Iggy. My internet went down last night and I was *this* close getting 4-6 of your planets under my control. Bravo for the game!

I am, by the way, sincerely happy for third place. It was my first game, so it means a lot. :)

EDIT: I need to make two statements.

First off, many thanks to everyone, but especially Terrance for giving me a great social gaming experience. I think my and his diplomacy worked out for the better; as he said, I was too strong for him to invade at first, and later it would be a strategical suicide since he needed me for merciary and later Iggy. Apparently, making sure the borders are tense and offering systems/gifts for jumping points and planning tactics mutually is a great recipe for a stable relationship. Especially the borders needed to be tense. Thanks for a great game, Terrance, well fought. And I'd like to acknowledge everyone else for playing, merciary's desperate expansion, Iggy's imperialism, and Daft's desperate last stand. I felt like the battleground of the other great powers, being a former great power myself. Was a lot of fun. :)

Secondly, I'd like to add that I'm sorry I didn't RP much this game. I simply haven't had the RL time. I'm with my girlfriend permanently these months, and I'm on vacation in the Czech Republic atm without much access to the internet. So... I promise I'll get better at being a character ingame. :)

Well, I'd expected you to attack, the only difference your lack of attack made was that it allowed me to win earlier than I thought was possible. Otherwise, I'd have been able to take out Daftpanzer's systems faster than you took mine.

Timing. Get everyone online at the same moment to jump into one of the free games.

Yup, that's precisely what we do. Also, I'm capable of making a password-protected game now that I've won Gamma Alfecca, as I have 55 points. I'll start it after the other 12-player game is finished.

Speaking of which, someone has to provide a few galaxy snapshots from that! Daft has given a few local views, but if I'm going to be excluded from it, then at least I'd like to be able to see or hear what's happening.

Final Results for Game 6:

1st (10 Points) Lord_Iggy
2nd (5 Points) Terrance888
3rd (1 Points) lord_joakim
4th Daftpanzer
5th merciary
6th Astar
7th Sunviper
8th AJAX

So with the ending of Game 6, does that mean you are starting another one? If so, can I join?

Who wants to be the historian? S/he must take a snap shot at least every other income and write up a small AAR. I would, except I am a bit isolated from contributing to galactic events directly.

Well, I take that role in every game that I take part in. I'd invite you to try it out Terrance, you did a good job with Game 4.

arya, it's our general goal to plan these a few days ahead of time. How does 3:30 PM Pacific Time (11:30 PM Greenwich Time) on Friday sound?

That is to say, unless anyone has any objections, the next game will start in approximately 45 hours.

9: 22-3hrs is about 5:00 PM, and I's be busy. To make it all earlier for you guys, how about push it back an hour or two?

(9:30-10:30 GWT)

EDIT: Two things, first how do you take complete pics of that monster map and second, I hope we get more than one historian on this large map to get some contrasting opinions.
