The NOTW Information Thread

I'd like to but I'm using mah setup for TWC.
 
I can take the spot after Auto if everyone's fine with it. :)

Moving this to be a NOTW, since the more I think about it, the more I realize it sounds more like a NOTW than a mafia game. It will (hopefully) be the first in a trilogy.

Revenge of the Gods​


Number of Players: ~30
Progress: 20%

High Priest Kurizhen informs the people that because of their wickedness, God has demanded that one person is sacrificed every day, to be voted on each day. In addition, God has commanded a small group of individuals to slowly eradicate the rest of the people by night. Kurizhen then declares that God has told him that should the people successfully eliminate the killers (the mafia/wolves), they will regain his favor, and the sacrifices will be allowed to come to an end. If they aren’t successful, they will all be killed.

(The game takes place in a non-FFH fantasy setting, and don't worry -- there will be twists, turns, and surprises galore.)

Also, very story-driven. Hopefully.

I'm also contemplating implementing a character creation mechanic, somewhat similar to what was seen in Atto Ngoogol. Character creation would most likely be optional, as I know not everyone wants to create a character.

I am starting work on a game which I think will be a NOTW eventually, however I have a question I would like to run it with 36-40 but I am worried that is too large should I scale it back to 24-28? (the game strangely would not work as well in the 28-36 range
 
I don't think here are even 30 players around here any more...
 
We need a revival, desperately. I've always wanted to be in those epic large games, but never really got the opportunity :/
 
Sadly, all of the archives I have are like that. It's enough to get the scope of the game, but myself and others have had no luck finding the entire thread anywhere. The links I have for the old games are all partial archives.
 
As far as I can tell, every single page on the Wayback Machine is like that. I'm not sure if it's a coding error or what, but damn, is it annoying as hell. It makes any long thread lose the last parts of it.
 
Take NOTW: Glory Everlasting off the queue. It's got some complicated and confusing setup to it and the ideas haven't been fully worked out. I've got another game I'm planning to touch up and host as my priority instead - small game on the mafia queue.
 
Erm, is there anyone with a new game ready once my game is over? Auto, are you sitll there? You're the only one I know who said he *could* host.
