So like, I found a thing full of multivitamins that I bought years ago. It had been sitting in my garage. According to the fine print, this thing expired sometime in 2008.

Would it be safe for me to consume these, on a day to day basis? Is the expiry date printed on there just for reasons of "well, we gotta put it on there, just cause", or would there be any health risks associated with consuming these pills?

The things smell and look exactly the same to me as they did 3 years ago. What do you think?

Funny story: In the documentary, Ron Blair (bass) swallowed a huge wad of hash to get rid of it at customs during the 1977 European tour. He went on to play a concert that night!

Multivitamins are a waste of time unless you've a strange condition or deficiency. However, drug expiry dates are not really worth worrying about. Almost all drugs remain potent many years after the expiry date. These dates are not the equivalent of food dates, for which two years overdue would constitute a major hazard.
Your multivitamins will have no effect on you at all, just as they would have done two years ago.

I think that the amount of rain falling directly on the windshield should not be effected by velocity, but how hard it hits and how much it effects visibility definitely would. Also, when moving faster much of rain that fell on the hood would be pushed onto the windshield instead of rolling straight off.

The faster you drive the more rain hits the windscreen. Any driver will confirm this. At any point in time there will be a certain amount of rain in front of the car, at windscreen height.
If the car is still, only the rain directly above the gentle slope of the windscreen will hit it in the small space of time for the rain at that height to fall 50 cm or so.
If the car is moving then not only that rain, but also the rain in the space horizontally adjacent to it, will hit the windscreen.
