The Simpsons Quiz Reloaded

Wasn't it the Museum of Swordfish?

Since there's been no confirmation of the answer, and I'm pretty sure I was right, here's the next question.

Easy one.. What does Homer use to save the shuttle (by barring the hatch shut) when he goes into space?

He uses a metal rod to keep the door shut. The rod later gets a parade in its honor and is on the cover of Time I believe.

And yes, the Museum of Swordfish was the correct answer. I hadn't realized that anyone had posted the answer in this thread yet, which is why I didn't respond.

Actually, it wasn't metal it was carbon, as in inanimate carbon rod :p ("I'll show you inanimate...!")

Yes, after stealing Homer's Employee of the Month spot, the carbon rod goes on to take credit for his 'heroism' in space.

Both KaNick and Mise were right.. KaNick got in first, but Mise remebered the inanimate carbon part, so either of you can ask the next one.

Why was the Australian government angry at Bart?
He made a long-distance phone call to one of their citizens.

- Bart made a collect-call to an Australian at a cost of $900.
- Avoided collection agency and other government letters.
- Lying over the telephone.

Oh man, I got OWND by gumby. Listed the full details of what crime Bart committed - $900, avoided collectors, etc.

Was that sarcasm?
No, I was actually being serious about that. I mean, I watched the episode, but didn't remember the details...and Gumby answer with the perfect answer, all the details. And I'm just blown away.

Gumby - is it the racoon?

Well, he forgot the detail about the Prime Minister naked in a pool drinking Fosters while floating in an innertube. But I gave it to him anyway ;)
