The Thread Where We Discuss Guns and Gun Control

Who "just happens" to quote a whole bunch of D'ump's more egregious lies about the subject.

Just out of curiosity, do you realize that the vast majority of Trumpists routinely say that they dislike the GOP? Generally speaking when they say "GOP" they mean "everyone but Trump, they're all RINOs," but they actually fully support the GOP now that D'ump has "restored the party to the true path." When you say that this guy "didn't like either party" you are in fact describing the typical Trumpist.

You are lying.

Read his 'manifesto', I did.

The inconvenient truth is that our lead
ers, both Democrat AND Republican, have been
failing us for decades. They are either complacent
or involved in one of the biggest betrayals of the
American public in our history.

The takeover of the
United States government by unchecked
corporations. I could write a ten page essay on all
the damage these corporations have caused

Recently, the senate under a REPUBLICAN administration has greatly increased the number of
foreign workers that will take American jobs. Remember that both Democrats and Republicans support
immigration and work visas. Corporations need to keep replenishing the labor pool for both skilled and
unskilled jobs to keep wages down.

The American lifestyle affords our citizens an incredible quality of life. However, our lifestyle is
destroying the environment of our country. The decimation of the environment is creating a massive
burden for future generations. Corporations are heaing the destruction of our environment by
shamelessly over harvesting resources. This has been
a problem for decades. For example, this
phenomenon is brilliantly portrayed in the decades
old classic “The Lorax”. Water sheds around the
country, especially in agricultural areas, are being depleted.

Fresh water is being polluted from farming
and oil drilling operations. Consumer culture is creating thousands of tons of unnecessary plastic waste
and electronic waste, and recycling to help slow this down is almost non-existent. Urban sprawl create
s inefficient cities which unnecessarily destroys millions of acres of land. We even use god knows how
many trees worth of paper towels just wipe water of
f our hands. Everything I have seen and heard in my
short life has led me to believe that the average A
merican isn’t willing to change their lifestyle, even if
the changes only cause a slight inconvenience.

The government is unwilling to tackle these issues
beyond empty promises since they are owned by corporations. Corporations that also like immigration
because more people means a bigger market for their
products. I just want to say that I love the people
of this country, but god damn most of y’all are just too stubborn to change your lifestyle. So the next
logical step is to decrease the number of people in
America using resources. If we can get rid of enough
people, then our way of life can become more sustainable.

Just full of Trump quotes

I wouldn't worry too much about losing guns. The US has clearly collectively decided periodic random massacres are an acceptable price to pay.

Not to mention the 18k dead every year to suicides, which have a far higher rate of success with firearms versus any other method. This doesn't even include all those who are "casualties" of firearms. Pretty sure you add injured in firearm incidents you are probably around 75-100k per year. All of that is considered acceptable to the american public. Definitely. No point denying the reality of the issue.

I read his manifesto and here was my take on it

the guy didn't like either party and accuses both of betrayal, he's an anti-consumerism Malthusian environmentalist who hates American imperialism, corporations and immigration/open borders and its effect on wages

Cloud and Tim accused me of lying and Tim said it was full of Trump quotes

So I quoted the parts that support my assessment

LOL...and left out the Trump quotes to make it seem like your position was supported. Hilarious, even for you.

Did you really read hes Manifesto ?
Because the very FIRST paragraph specifically states the reason behind the mass shooting ? I mean how do you simply dismiss this ?
What about him being a Trump supporter ? Are you not aware ? Do you distrust the Media ? You think he carried out the shooting to stop the Rise of automation ?

“In general, I support the Christchurch shooter and his manifesto. This attack is a response to the Hispanic invasion of Texas. They are the instigators, not me. I am simply defending my country from cultural and ethnic replacement brought on by an invasion. Some people will think this statement is hypocritical because of the nearly complete ethnic and cultural destruction brought to the Native Americans by our European ancestors, but this just reinforces my point. The natives didn’t take the invasion of Europeans seriously, and now what’s left is just a shadow of what was. My motives for this attack are not at all personal. Actually the Hispanic community was not my target before I read The Great Replacement. This manifesto will cover the political and economic reasons behind the attack, my gear, my expectations of what response this will generate and my personal motivations and thoughts.”

Due to the death of the baby boomers, the increasingly anti-immigrant rhetoric of the right and the ever increasing Hispanic population, America will soon become a one party-state. The Democrat party will own America and they know it
It goes on to denounce “race mixing”

In January 2017, he retweeted a Presler tweet that read, “Build that wall, Trump. Build it tall, Trump.
Stop that voter fraud, Trump. Start with California, Trump. #ThankYouTrump.”

It seemed personally to me, he started with his sister and her boyfriend and basically just kept shooting. If it was political is was awfully bad location for a leftist trying to make a point.
So, like, he needed a vest, mask and that firepower to kill his sister and her boyfriend? I don't know if he wanted to make some leftist point, but it does seem he wanted to kill lots of people

I read the manifesto and Berzerker is fairly accurate. Did you read it?

Judging from those pieces Berzerker quoted, it is one more symptom of how broken society got, that it produces this sad mix of thoughts. It's not Trump's rhetoric, it is what comes after Trump if things remain broken. A peddler of fake change and hope followed by another one, will get worse.

You can't call these fascists because fascism at least had a programme. These are lashing out blindly, there is no coherent idea of a future, only negative reactions to the present.

Does that include 'Freedom of speech'?
No it does not. The first one is about free speech. The second is about guns and keeping a militia.
