How do people even fall for those phone scams asking for gift cards? I know why the scammers ask for them, but do the victims really think that the IRS or power company really, really, really wants to listen to iTunes that badly?
@Arakhor - You mentioning "mulled wine" in VMQNWTOT 35 reminded me of this![]()
No no no, you miss my point. What's funny is not the concept of mulled wine, or the fact that Clarence wants it, especially since as he says "it's been so long" since he had a drink and we know he is from the 1600-1700s, based on his statement later in the scene. It made perfect sense that he'd want something nostalgic, festive, seasonal and fancy, given the time of year and the situation. It's A Wonderful Life is a great film, but I'm not sure why you think that mulled wine is a funny concept. In a cold, dark country, of course people are going to serve hot drinks where possible, which meant hot alcohol in days gone past.
There's an unfiltered one $8 a bottle back home I really like :yum:Cheap sake isn't awful, and that's sometimes warm.
I recently bought some coffee that was marked as kosher-approved. Is there a way for coffee not to be kosher?
I suppose that if it was processed in the same plant as non-kosher products without any sort of ritual purification in between then it might not qualify as kosher.I recently bought some coffee that was marked as kosher-approved. Is there a way for coffee not to be kosher?
This is a crime.extorting money
Just "kosher". I suppose it's possible that some additives or flavourings might render a coffee non-Passover-friendly, and this is just there to confirms this one is good all year?Did it say kosher for Passover, or just kosher?
