I've come up with a new silly word for lazer sword.
I do not generally get upset about american english, I can even live with their tendency to change most s's in the middle of words to z's for no good reason. But this I cannot let go, laser in an acronym, Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. There is NO way that the s can be a z, what does that stand for?lazer
We do not spell laser with a z in the US.I do not generally get upset about american english, I can even live with their tendency to change most s's in the middle of words to z's for no good reason. This reminds me of a production of "The Sound of Music" I worked on 35 years ago. One of the actors playing a Nazi substituted "z" for "s" and "th" in some of his dialogue. I still remember how one set of lines came out:Izn't it obviouz?
It'z "Light Amplification by Ztimulated Emizzion of Radiation"
I dunno, zome people...![]()
