I can't recommend any specific machines but would recommend to try self massage techniques - you have to try out which is the best for you according to your specific tension. We have a small massage ball (a bit larger than a tennis ball with small rubber "dimples" on it.) which works fine for me, just lay on the ground and put this thing under your neck and move your head accordingly.

You could also try something like red tiger balm which increases blood flow (and heat), but I am not sure if it is available at your place.

Maybe sounding like a wisecrack but eliminating the cause is more effective than treating the symptoms. ( Check the height of your PC display, perhaps change the pillow you sleep on etc)

Current availability may be low.

Thanks for the response. The initial cause is an old auto accident, which damaged my neck. I'm not certain what the aggravating factor is now. I just got a new mattress, and I seem to be sleeping pretty well. My computer monitors seem to be at a height where I'm looking straight, and not up or down.

I think that only get popular in the last few years, and it's actually what it says it is: A cushion filled with cherry pits.
You warm it up in the microwave, and then it stays warm for quite a while. Similar to hot water bags.
I have one in case I have cramped up neck muscles.

I don't have really anything for massaging the muscles though. Maybe I should get something at some point .

There are lots of variations of those: rice filled, barley filled, etc.

Yeah, generally google, or at least wherever google sends me. I just start typing some approximation of the spelling into the search block and see what it auto corrects to.

I assume you're asking for English-only, right?

I approve.

@Timsup2nothin, have you heard anything about a super bloom this year? I see the poppies are blooming now but with the rain coming so late, I'm not sure if we missed a super bloom or if the authorities are purposefully not talking about it b/c they don't want crowds.

Haven't heard anything at all. Seems like with all the rain it should be a good year, but basically nothing can penetrate the news barrier at this point.
