We accept trade with:
USA
Siberia
Deseret
Eastern Papal states
Kalmar Union

We also offer trade with every nation

Offer trade with all nations
I'm fine with the new land distribution.

Offer trade with all nations and accept trade with all people who have offered. The queen is insulted by the USA by letting Ethiopia claim all of Africa.

Queen Karabo sent the following letter to the people of all the countries shown below:
"People of southern Africa. It is a hard world out there. As small and unorganized peoples, you will be wiped out by larger nations. I, Queen Karabo of Lesotho, guarantee your freedom if you accept integration into our kingdom. Every person in your lands will recieve the same freedoms and rights as all other Basotho, and we will bring peace to your lands. If you refuse, however, be warned that Lesotho will not forget this, and you will eventually be crushed. Sincerely, Queen Karabo I Morjia of Lesotho."

Roleplay perhaps?

Nations strengthen, and flex their muscle. Throughout the globe, countries have begun expanding their influence, biding their time. The world is calm.

Events:
Spoiler :

Ottoman Empire:
Spoiler :
A Second Wind for the Sick Man: The Ottoman Empire, which has long been considered the Sick Man of Europe, is undergoing a strange revitalization. The economy is better, the military seems more effective, and the future in general seems slightly brighter.

Option A: More money, more problems, like where exactly to expand. (+1 Claim (counts as 1EP))
Option B: Our armies will crush the bones of our enemies into dust, which we shall then use in our gelatin snacks! (armies receive a +1 combat bonus this turn)
Option C: The future is indeed bright. Bright as the sun, which melted the wings of Icarus and caused him to fall from the sky! MWAHAHAHAHA (Stability bonus, moderate)

United States of Arabia:
Spoiler :
Desert/Dessert Mix-Up Leads to a Surprisingly Good Outcome: A foreign tourist who attempted to get some ice cream, but accidentally wandered into the Arabian Desert was found recently. It turns out he discovered some ruins in the middle of the desert, underneath which is a massive oil reserve.

Option A: Drill, infant, drill. (Gain 5EP in Home Front Tech)

Option B: Oil is like blood for tanks. Or is it their food? Put our top researchers on this conundrum (Gain 5EP in Offensive Tactics)

Option C: No bro, we shouldn't disturb these groovy ruins, especially for oil. Sing Kumbaya, I'm sure the ruins will attract more tourists. (Stability bonus, minor)

Spanish State:
Spoiler :
Groucho Marx Performance Leads to Countryside Insurgency: A recent performance broadcast nationwide has lead to a peasant uprising in the countryside. The insurgents accuse the government of not having a sense of humor, and are attempting to overthrow the Spanish State. They wear large fake mustaches, smoke big cigars, and call themselves Groucho Marxists.

Option A: Suppress them. Violently. (Stability hit, moderate)

Option B: Back in my day, we had to make due with knock knock jokes, hike 20 miles to go to school and.... where was I going with this? (lose 2EP this turn).

Empire of New Zealand:
Spoiler :
Heightened Rates of Illness Troubling: A new study was published today that reveals that the Empire of New Zealand has rather high rates of illness. The source is presently unknown.

Option A: Slackers, the lot of them. (Lose 2EP this turn)

Option B: Burn the scientists at the stake, how dare they insult our nation? (Lose 5EP in Home Front Tech)

Option C: Launch a public awareness campaign about the benefits of cancer. (Stability hit, minor.)

Patch 1.1.5 Notes:
Alright, trade is broken. I really just tossed it in as an afterthought. It was intended to be a way to help smaller states. Clearly it needed more thought. So here's the deal. I capped it at 5 trade pacts this turn; you all receive the benefit, since its my fault the system was so broken. Trade agreements will be changed next update, so don't bother signing them again. I am intending to make size and the cap on trade agreements inversely related; namely smaller states would be able to sign more of them.

Lesotho, Siberia, your orders were received, but the Random Number God saw fit to deny you all your claims.

Also, I guarantee I probably missed something; if you spot an error, don't hesitate to point it out.

Mistakes: New Zealand is missing its army.
