Help me. I don't know where I am.
With the conclusion of ULTIMATE Members Elimination as a three-way tie between Ilduce, Yoshiegg737 and Dhoomstriker, and Abaddon's unfortunate departure from the forums, I've taken it upon myself to take over the reins of Ultimate Elimination. This in mind, I have to open signups, hence this. The ruleset is as follows:

"All the usual rules, plus: ONLY those on the list, and only those still alive can vote."

In response to the three way Mexican showdown we had in thread one, I propose the following alteration:

"All the usual rules, plus: ONLY those on the list, and only those still alive can vote. Once only three players remain, votes will be PMed to the GM on a once per 24 hour basis, then announced simultaneously."

Start signing up, people!

Quick edit: forgot to mention, since I'm not here from New Year's, and so the game starts in a reasonable amount of time, you have until the thirtieth (NZ time, so the twenty-ninth for most people) to sign up. And it'd be appreciated if you post your interest in the thread as well, since if it quiets down earlier we can begin accordingly.

FAQs:

Q. What if the GM is one of the 3 in the mexican standoff?
A. In the event of the GM being in the final three (I can only hope :p), the job [of taking the PMs] will go to the highest-placed CFCer who has been eliminated and is willing.

Please post a link here once the game is ready.

Naturally. :D

I'm in.

not in but just a concern.

What if the GM is one of the 3 in the mexican standoff?

Also want a better deterence of a mexican standoff be that when 3 players remain, anyone who doesn't vote on a particular day will loose 1 point, thatway forcing people to vote and ending the standoff...

In that case, handing over GMship to a non-combatant would be my suggestion.

I'll go with what SK said. In the event of the GM being in the final three (I can only hope :p), the job will go to the highest-placed CFCer who has been eliminated and is willing.

So what happened to this?

I think it was simply forgotten.

In like a Finn

So am I meant to GM this, or start a new sign-up thread?
