Mikoyan, NOTHING will make this better. We kill a bunch of people, it still continues. We kill the entire population, it will still continue. If we all drop drawers and point our shiny asses due east, it'll still continue.
So why not do something constructive, and if that includes killing, so be it. Plenty of Americans have died for centuries to ensure that we are a free country. Terrorists want to take that from us? Turning the other cheek is NOT a good idea. Ass or face. We need to take action and we are. Pissin' and moanin' in SunTzu's direction gets you nowhere.

I think spending more of that dough on triying to prevent such incidents in the future, instead of wasting millions of tax collectors money to fill even more corps bags and casks swept in in those ugly stars and stripes. And hire bounty hunters to hunt down Bin Laden or something like that.

"Ugly" Stars and Stripes? I won't comment on your country's flag's appearance. I think it speaks for itself. Just keep in mind, which flag has more pride and is actually worth something.
And trust me that PLENTY of money is being put into security here in the U.S. Shucks, if ya'll constructed something worthwhile, maybe YOUR country would be a target to terrorism also. But you probably have nothing to worry about there.

You still don't say what should be done. Measures against these attacks (Yes, attacks, not incidents) can help, but they can't always work. In Israel we spend millions of $ in security measures every year, but so far this is not very succesful comparing to the targeted killings and to the raids on Palesinian cities. And in Israel we have the kind of measures Americans will never agree to because they fear for their freedom and privacy. I don't think the American public would like to see soldiers in every corner hoping to catch attackers...

Mikoyan, and SunTzu: You guys ought to simply agree to disagree, as your views are mutually exclusive. I take the middle road. I am a peacenik, and though war scares me, I fully support my country's war on terrorism.
Mikoyan, the US is doing all that it can to tread lightly. It would have been really easy for us to have blown someone up during the fury immediately following the Tragedy, but I feel that we are doing our best to take the moral high ground. Please, whatever you do, give us credit for that. It really saddens me to see us Americans constantly villified, even though we are doing all that we can to tread cautiously, and with respect for others. Though I cherish peace, I feel it would be a grave mistake on our part, to let this go unanswered.
I'm not trying to be a boss or Mod. I'm just acting as the Voice of Reason. There may be war in the world, but can we at least have peace on this board?

I am not going to touch the parts of your statement that were obviously inspired by some personal hatred problem you have but i will tell you the the British Comandos and American Special Forces (includes seals, Navy Seals, Army Rangers, etc.) are specially trained to do exactly what you are saying: bounty hunting.
I might could half understand your statement if America had immediately retaliated with the full morce of it's military action including missles and tanks and all but this is 2 and a half weeks later and only after careful diplomacy that the US is taking much needed military action to go after Al Quada, and Bin Laudin. They are not going to go after the Taliban directly, but if they want to get in the way, then they will share in the fate of thier guests.
